uhh , artlogic , Is there any chance for a character/hero/active spell update where we could get more of them ? Because I don't know why but the choice feels really limited currently . Not that I want an EWS or EWL size but a bit more won't hurt 9 I think ). Especially with the specific unit to a specific character . And if we get one , please do not make it use kerd , and use the original heroes of EW instead of newer ones. And also new campaign mission pls.
use spells like sword of judgement or any 3rd spell . When many strong units come out at the same time it is called a revenge wave . This has been in every Epic War when castle health became low enough . Hope I helped :)
Here are some suggestions ...:1) Black out the hero who is dead and his skill when he is dead like in previous EWs . Or make the place where the time and objective is become a log which will send message like "Hero X has been revived " " Skill X has been recharged " " Revenge Wave !!!" etc.. but only for important stuffs like heroes. 2) Remove the Epic War logo in battle screen and put the mini map back .Other minor stuffs (personal stuff): I noticed that the magic attack animations look worse compared to the previous initiation. They look dull now , no longer epic like in EW4 or EW3 (EW5 magic look dumb). Also you should have kept the old units as they were , like : You transformed succubus from magic unit to melee . It was better as a flame witch rather than a cycling kick (that attack animation funny)melee. I'm also disappointed that my favorite unit was not added in this one (Thunder witch).
@ Trevor , use high damage powergems ( black , yellow , red ) or freeze them on purple gem traps . Having many towers of low-mid lvl gems shooting at is worse than Having one or 2 strong gems shooting at them because they have high armor . It also works the opposite way for swarmlings. In short , Giants = Strong single gems 9 if possible with bolt ) , Swarmlings = Many Gems ( or beam if you have it )
Went through top comments page 3 and 90% was btching about microtransactions ... Well I was too , disappointed but I let it be . Also , it isn't really p2w as I nearly finished it on AG ( I stopped cuz I was fed up of that site ) without MP. Still it is a very good game which added lots and lots of stuff since the last game . I recommend it to everyone who has time to waste . Otherwise I really wish I had 20 more Kerd so that I can experience MP . Small tip : Orange gem ( in tower ) + Beam = LOTS and LOTS of Mana.
Long ago I played the game and I found it bad . I tried it again some years later and still found it bad .But one week ago I decided to give it a last chance and I found that it was a true gem. At first you don't understand what you are doing but later on it you understand it and start to enjoy it . The concept is awesome , so is the music ( I love it , is there a download link to it ?) . That black fume stuff make the creatures look so so good especially Yaksa and the woman with serpent heads and that white ghost . THe difficulty and the easiness is also present . I love challenge so , I love it. It still have flaws too such as the one death = game-over , making the game a bummer if you forgot to save before the match . I hope for EQ2 even if I don't think there will be one.
damn , the second boss is so hard and you made a really cool animation of cold collector but its projectiles are MEH . You should have made the bullet be like Skulls in faint blue or purple fumes.
Wish that frost rune's 4th upgrade ( swarm) didn't have that longer shooting time penalty . At easier level I could use ice to kill everything but now I have to use ice/lighting dual but still that means more balance that ice isn't op . And what is supposed to be the stuff that amaze us with fire ( ice has multi target + free/slow , lighting has that phenomenal damage) . The burning doesn't amaze me . YOu may found me a critic but let me tell you that I enjoyed your game because : It becomes hard after some point ( I love challenge) 5/5
The cooldown penalty for swarm was needed for balance. it originally did not have that and it killed everything at the same time caused the game to lag. for the burning property, being DoT sure can be lackluster but are effective on certain enemies specially some area 3 enemies. Fire also has the stagger ability which for 3-5 seconds enables you to do 100% damage on that enemy. - Constructive criticism is very much embraced.
