"sir, we've had enough of your gluttony, it's time your reign end." "I hear what you're saying, and i've just concocted the greatest suicide plan ever."
Hehe, that was our original tag line, but it didn't fit on the banner. Remember, that the ships, interceptors and modules are all on different planes, use that to your advantage, esp. with big fleets.
"We have to prevent these aliens from taking over the planet!" "What sort of tactics can we expect them to use?" "Mostly they just hover there while we gun them down." "Sir... are you sure they are trying to invade the planet?"
One of the absolute best features of this game is that user created content is supported. However, you are not allowed to access it yourself without subscription, except for a brief period of time when you first start playing. Respectfully, that's total nonsense. This isn't bonus content you've created, this is content that your users have created, it's just not right for you to restrict access to things you didn't even create. I think this game is great, and it deserves a strong userbase, but i'm of the opinion that the bizarre decision to restrict content created by the people who help make your game go can only hurt this game. Personally, if it remains that way you will probably soon lose me as a player. It would be different if it was extra bonus content that you made that you were restricting, but it isn't. I'm okay with paying for more cool stuff, but only if it's cool stuff you actually had a hand in creating, not cool stuff made by other people to try to enrich your game.
I like this game, i think it's worth playing. Do i think it's worth paying out the ass for with a subscription model? Not even close, not unless it starts magically producing several times as much content. I might even be willing to buy it once at the cost they're asking for a month or two subscription. But to basically pay what the game is worth every month? no thanks.
I think this is important subject matter that we need to be willing to discuss. I would have liked more interactivity however. I played through all three endings and what i think it needs is more involvement. It would also be nice if you could perhaps reach out to another character to help, and it would have been good if you had added a website or something where someone could find someone to talk to about this sort of thing. For the interest of reaching out to your audience.
