This game is very well put together, but the obtuse advancement requirements together with the self-nullifying upgrade system sabotage the ability to enjoy this game. If it was one or the other the game would be enjoyable, but both of those factors coupled make this game frustrating rather than difficult.
Clever clever game, good idea, good execution. The only complaint i have is that there does not seem enough game. Still, i can appreciate its minimalistic simplicity.
This game is okay and i enjoyed it, but at the same time it leaves me a little disappointed. The linear development and involvement in building up the character leaves much to be desired. My favorite part of the game was the musical score, it is quite lovely.
Suggestion: I think the combat system would be much improved if you could queue up moves, that way you don't lose time fumbling through the menu while your enemies attack meter ticks down, it wasn't really a problem this time around, but if you want to incorporate any difficulty in the game it might be a good idea.
The presence of guards makes this otherwise unremakable game a little more interesting, but the linear development and overly simplistic play sink this back into being merely another boring game.
Delosford, i would like to express my support for you and your game. Despite the ignorant sabotage of your work i hope you know that you are not short of supporters, including me, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the support. It's always helpful. Truly unfortunate that some subsets of the kongregate community engage in this sort of behavior. It only hurts the site as a whole, which I really like as a concept.
There are definitely 6. Which ones have you unlocked?
