Some of the levels were frustratingly frustrating. The worst part is when they had a relatively easy solution, but it was just guess-and-check until you fell off the right platform holding the right key.

There should be zero guesswork involved. Look for connecting objects (posters cut in half, trees with overhanging leaves, etc.).

My interpretation is not quite as happy as the others. I took this from a different perspective. The boy loves the girl. That much is apparent in how out of his way he is willing to go to make her happy. But she isn't happy. And no matter how much you give her, she is never happy. At the end, he gives her everything he can, and she just gets up. Could this be a sign of leaving? Although, this was a very thought provoking game. Another possibility I see is that perhaps, the two people here simple represent people. The boy is somebody whom fills his life with joy by giving to others. But that is not a good thing. Those who live by giving to others often receive nothing in return. When this boy was finished giving, he vanished. People who live on the gratitude of others suffer from this plague, as well as the one at the start of the story. Their life can never be filled with color unless they are helping somebody. My own two interpretations of this wonderful game.

@Unmediocre Really? That is your thinking? That isnt a challenge/downside, that is a major mechanic flaw. You essentially made one stat useless while giving items to increase it. And I don't mean useless as in "Not worth getting," I mean useless as in "Without a use." If that is your thinking, and I am not a big fan of this series to begin with, I will only give you as much as a 3/5.

I didnt lag at all. Also, the Grenade launcher is OP. I went through levels 15-20 taking no damage by standing against the wall spamming grenades.

Am I the only one who is unable to get the "Paste in notepad" Achievement? I even looked at the walk through and it said "Press the centre of the wheel" I took this to mean "Press mouse 3" and I pushed it, and nothing happened. I dont know what, but I am kind of pissed that I will be stuck at 98.80% for eternity. ;_;

I believe this has the potential to be a good game. There are a few problems however. One major one is that that game is far too easy. I managed to beat the entire game within 10 minutes, never going below 3/4 health. I just spammed "Shoryukens" as I called them (Due to the fact that the male character looks very similar to Ken from the Street Fighter franchise and the l ability looks very similar to that move) on every enemy except the final version of the last boss, in which I just used Shoryuken, turned around and j combo'd. Repeat until dead. I found that the only useful weapons were the grenade (Capable of taking out an entire "wave" in 1 second) and the m60, which I just use as soon as I get it because it is not worth saving. Enough about me however. This game is ok, but not entirely exceptional. 3.5/5

There are 2 problems I see with this game. One is that it takes too long. Make more levels, and make less of it grinding. The other problem is that if you wait long enough, the orbs will subtract some of your effort. When you give us multiple orbs to collect at a time, I expect the ability to pick and choose which ones I go after.

There is not nearly enough GP in this game. I completely agree that this is a step down from BT2. I think you should have stuck with the winning method. For the next game, make it so that GP and BP are the same thing. For example, make it so like BT2 where you need bubbles to level up and how the world is a grid. Then when it so that when you level up, you spend those bubbles on whatever weapons and "armor" you want. Or you could make it so that you get to go to the Customize screen like in this game. Just make it so there is ONLY BP and guns just cost more BP. For example, the basic gun might cost 3 BP while the bodies cost 1 BP each.

Not that frustratingly hard of a game but still challenging. +1. Beat it in 8:08 minutes. 44 deaths. The last level is the most fun, but not that difficult. And of course there is absolutely no timing involved, which is always good in my opinion. +1. +1 for concept. +1 for art. I'm sure there is something else that I might be able to add to make it a 5/5, but Ill leave it at 4/5.

I like this game. It's a metaphor. This seems to be the general consensus. I disagree with this. While there might be a metaphor in there, it is impossible to interpret. No matter what path you take, the general course is the same. The only thing that changes is the colors and images. I think a metaphor for this game could be "If you listen to your superiors, your life will be clear, but if you disobey, your life will be chaos." This game is not as deep as you think. And I'm as into hidden meanings as most people.

And also add an ingame interface. I hate to have to refresh the page, or die to load a game. Just add a Load game option in the settings. You also need to implement a "Save point" feature. Going all the way back to town to save is a pain. Also maybe add some kind of level border. Like a sign that tells you not to go to a certain area until you are a certain level. To outline the problems, there is... Keyboard only to move (No hotkeys, no mouse movement) No smooth turning Too big of a level difference Saving/loading issues (Save points, ingame loading) Small inventory Regen and walking speed increase (Wouldn't be as much of a problem with mouse movement) No translucent obstacles
