There are many things about this game that bothered me. It had good art word, good music, good story, and good concept. The problems are that this game was not executed well. Why make the need to use the keyboard to move, when everything else uses the mouse. And also about that, does anyone else have a problem moving with the keyboard? I find it that when I want to turn, I have to stop completely, giving the enemy time to catch me, and then pick a new direction. This would be okay, but there are too many obstacles. There is a rock of something that I have to go around, and then my pet dies. Also the level difference is too great. I try to fight an enemy 1-2 levels above me, and me or my pet dies. Of course there is also the inventory, which everyone agrees needs help.
Great game. My favorite level is the Thicket because I upgraded my crypts and they slaughter everything in that level. I just put 3 on the high ground at the start, then after the next round I chop out a tree off to the left for the ninjas that sneak through and put another crypt on high ground. Upgrade the crypts, and you win. Also, Freeze is a very useful skill. If the boss gets frozen, I just use frenzy and it is killed. Great way to farm exp.
This is a nice, easy game. To get money, play the last vault level, and open all of the silver chests first. You should have enough keys left to open one or two of the gold ones. You should also have gotten enough money from the silver chests alone to pay for another round. Repeat for easy money. Then just upgrade everything and you wont have to worry about dying. Ever.
I just want to mention, the "Bug" where you keep moving in one direction, isn't a bug. It means you pushed alt of the windows button on you keyboard and so it keeps moving in that direction. That out of the way, great game. On the contrary to what matsteo said, I think the bits should be only ones. As zeros are off, they are nothing. As ones are on, they would be something. :D
This is Dorando's tactic btw: Bowl: build upwards onto the top ridge, then build left and right to make a sort of T shape 2-3 each direction. place one moter to the far left, one to the far right and one at the top middle. you are now secure to build up your energy and add more connectors.
Bowl is easy once you get started. I used Darando's tactic to start, then built a bunch of generators and energy stores. Once I had plenty of energy, I created an army or blasters and just made a wall that I moved to the top, placing collecters along the way to supply them with ammo.
I spend all my green coins on ability points but after I max everything out I probably wont. And for those of you who cant read, RED COINS ARE OBTAINED FROM EVENTS. Im guessing this includes sending in monsters, zones, additions, pets, items, etc. but dont quote me.
Oh. I forgot to mention. If you beat the game in under 8 minutes and restart the game, you start with max money and skills. Then you can proceed to the last boss and kill in one hit. When you reach Chuck Norris, run. You cant beat him. Anyone who said they did is a liar. The cake and beating Chuck Norris are lies.
