Hi boernworst. There's actually a button for that. While you are playing, at the top right of your screen, there's a PAUSE menu. Click it and you will get basic stats about your current progress like how many towers you have, how many kills, the actual stage, world, and so on... an also, you can restart, resume or go to the menu with the buttons at the bottom.
