If the gears don't evaporate, and they are automatically collected at the end of a level, why are they in the game? You are missing the point of a shooter. The money evaporates to force you to move out and get it.
Dood, you still need to pull the camera back. 95% of the time I am shooting at off-screen enemy indicators. I don't even know what the enemies look like. Same problem as Bubble Tanks. Have you _played_ your game?
"it’s a flash player bug not a game bug" Unless 90% of other flash apps have the same problem on the same version, yeah, it's a game bug. That's what a game bug is, see. A bug in the game. The player works fine.
Not really a puzzle game since there is always exactly one way to go. But a neat platform game with nice art. Your level select screen needs work though. Font cuts off.
This is really cool and has great art. The Defense and Counter gems would be more fun if they decayed over time instead of only lasting one turn. Defense is totally useless and the only good part about Counter is the AI is too dumb to not trigger it.
The shotgun is so long you can't shoot an enemy next to you. And you can't switch weapons while reloading, which is when, you know, you want to switch weapons. Otherwise awesome.
This is a wicked solid metroid. I love it. Plot's a little wonk though. When I find the snails out in the wild, shouldn't they be rescued and go home? Isn't that the goal?
@mysticpickle: No, what makes a game great is when it is fun. I've played pixel games on this site that were a thousand times better than this. Make a great shooting game, THEN add characters and skippable dialog.
