its a well put together game thats simple and fun, but it feels heavily rushed in the graphical and animations department. its nice to get visual feedback now adays now that we can all make games on systems that support the space to do so. also this leads out of battle, enemys floating across the screen as flat boring pictures and even some menu options that dont glow or highlight when i want to select them. its a good game but with some more effort it could have been a great game!
I've noticed that after i have played the game for a length of time (twenty minutes to a half hour) the controls start to get very sloppy, keys will either become unresponsive or "stick" making the character continue moving in that direction for a short while (usually into a pit of acid) the jump keys will not work when pressed, neither will the attack key. usually saving&quitting, then reloading the page fixes it.This may just be my machine since I'm not seeing any other mentions of this bug readily. but it may be something to check into if any more complaints pop up about this.
a laggy computer makes the inkt levels completely impossible ( they spawned before my character was on the board causeing me to instantly lose the level before it even started)
dont forget about that fuel bar folks, even if you somehow manage to survive being flung into pits you'll still run out of fuel just before the end
whats with all this combo-ing but i still get back less fuel than i expend via existing
i really have to say i love this music, this is a nice game, and the customization of ships is varied but not overwhelming. the only bad thing about this game is the feeling of sameness in each level, enemies arnt very varried, the size of the levels is the same, it feels like more time was spent on the actual bosses than the levels they inhabit, but then again there really IS only so much you can do in space
is there a way to resize the Kong game window? this is the second game i have been unable to play because it just couldnt fit within the screen! (i cant see the menu buttons at the bottom of the screen dureing mission select for example)
aparently my computer doesnt like when a shadow falls into an abyss, it chugs the framerate way way way down...or maybe thats how the game is supposed to be, i hope not, specially for pit level (18?19?)
too bad you cannot edit posts, i keep unlocking thies medals but cant see a way to view them or ones i may be missing, probebly from the poor window sizeing of the game
