I think the scaling on the waves is too linear, the difficulty skyrockets and you only get 2 nougat for normal waves. I am better off staying on casual and not wasting resources like cocoa or bricks.
"Added a new Currency Type, which is a required resource to craft equipment pieces." No worries though, we list this no where, and you have to just check constantly to see if you can craft anything. We added this because we wanted to make crafting useless and wanted to remove fun from the game.
Seriously though, just remove crafting at this point.
I hope you actually start caring about making this game as good as it can be, but your actions (updates and comments, or lack completely there of) show that you only truly care about making money. The game is still in a pre-alpha state where clicking tabs takes over a second to register and bugs are ignored. Good luck milking the ignorant players. I enjoyed some of the time I spent, but wish you cared more about the experience over money.
Great additions, but you still hit a brick wall 1 minute after reset. The game was playable before you removed all of the Qubit upgrades and left only 3. Now there are none and the Decrypt is a nice addition, but doesn't replace them. Needs major re-balacing -1/5 still. Re-balance the game already.
You claim the manager skill multiplies the other skills, but the math just doesn't add up at all. After you multiply the manager bonus by say fries (55 * 55 = 3,025), are you dividing or subtracting something? Balance just seems insanely off. When you go up a level in either changes the math to 66 * 55 = 3630. 3630 - 3025 = 605, so the increase in fries profits should be x605 higher yet it barely moves in relation to that number (not even double). Can you link the actual formula for all factors (Research/All Skills/Mega Dollar Bonus/Etc) considered because it seems either unintuitively designed to milk gold (compounded interest is a great example of a similar scam that looks good on paper but is designed to screw you over), worded incorrectly, or the formula is way off.
Are there any plans make this game playable by adding back Qubit upgrades or are you planning to keep this game in it's broken play for a few days boring state.
The game seems to have lost content with only 3 Qubit upgrades. You max out in a few days then the game dies as you are stuck on the same levels for weeks.
The game has a great bade, but unfortunately only has enough content for a few days and gets rather stale. It also suffers from vast imbalances, like hunters being absolutely useless always and beetles,sea creatures etc also being useless once you get past the first or second reset. They should at least come close to normal ant gains, instead they don't even move the science or food margins much if at all. Keep going and you might end up with a game more similar to sim swarm although a boatload more content needs to hit before that will happen and you have to balance it out. Until then it is a 2 out of 5 at best because every reset is exactly the same.
This game has a lot of promise, but the developer really needs to learn how to communicate better to fans. If a deadline passes, you have to update fans.
To be clear, this is the prototype and the game on Android... etc is the full release with a whole 2 more hours of content? Don't get me wrong, the interface, story and game-play you have is great, but it is one of the worst idle games I have played to date.
Nice job with the non-scaling window, if you could make it even smaller then 800x600 that would be great. I can still read text barely. Better to just make garbage games for 1995 resolutions unplayable completely so people can tell when a game is shit.
So the game saves are stored in temp folders instead of it's own folder. Having to backup my savegame before I clear temp folders is not fun. Five stars down to one.
