@shiratzu - I have no doubt you are correct, the other drivers crashing helps you when you crash. However, my 'down rated' point (which is funny, considering my first three words were "Love the game") was that seems to coincide a bit often for my taste. Sure, it makes it so you don't have to play as many times, but it removes some of the challenge. @marti000 - same thing happen to me, 2 levels to go and my progress disappeared, had to start over...
Love the game. Up grades are pretty easy to earn the cash for and the vehicle variety is fun. However, it seems rather arbitrary that I can crash and get third place, or do everything spot on correct, and still end up in third place on the same level. This has happened numerous times on different levels (the finishing place has varied of course). That makes no sense given how much time is lost when you crash. First place finishes are rarely by a mile, so it would stand to reason that a crash should all but completely negate your chances of a top finishing spot. Nice work.
Correction: The statement "...should be accepted by those who love differently than you." should read "...should be respected by you when others love differently."
@luqui01 - Please, don't attempt to ascribe some underlying, insidious, negative aspect to the message of this game. The message is that Love, regardless of gender, should be accepted by those who love differently than you.
It makes no comparisons between how you love, and how other's love.
It makes no attempt to establish a hierarchy regarding different types of love.
It simply attempts to convey that love of any kind is great thing, and should be accepted as such.
I find myself periodically rechecking the comments section on your game just so I can read your hilarious responses to the haters, thanks again for the game, the message, and the intermittent humor throughout the day!
I think 'link' refers to how many times colors have to be combined in a level. Level 6 is the first level with a link, 1 link, and 1 color combination is needed to complete the level.
@finris1, when you reach around level 160-165, there are redundancies aplenty. I am at level 222 which has 21 sources and 30 "dummies", at higher levels the difficulty is much more interesting.
As much as I have been playing this game a slight modification has come to mind. I would love it if you could pan by clicking, holding down, and moving with the mouse rather than the arrow keys. No big deal, just a thought.
Nice work. There is something about this game that is really addictive, but in a soothing kind of way. Would love to see an upgrade with more color combinations. 3D could be done by mapping onto a cube like 3D logic, but that may be to ludicrously difficult.
For me, one of the hallmarks of a great puzzle game is the fact that people are stumped by different levels. It demonstrates quite clearly that "intelligence" manifests in many different ways. For me, level 40 was the only one that stalled me for any length of time, yet I read a post by 8ate8 who solved it in under 2 minutes, I love it when that happens.
While I appreciate being told what's happening i.e. "We're currently upgrading our database capacity and should be back shortly.", I think it would be much better if the gaming community were informed PRIOR TO any sort of update that requires down time, rather than after people start mission battles, or wars/raids which are time sensitive.
Believe me, it's my pleasure ^_^
