Very challenging, and enjoyable! Would have liked I instant feedback on my answers, right/wrong, why... Pause would have been nice... Replay... More questions, levels....
3/5 I love this series, and have played this game on pc. This was virtually unplayable on my samsung galaxy with droid 2.2, and flash 10. Wasn't fullscreen, and button points were way to small to hit. Gettimg from room to room was maddening. 3 stars on reputation alone.
Thank you for wasting the few brain cells I have by presenting this as a playable 'game'. Thank you for your originallity. Thank you for the multiple months of effort in getting this 'game' ready for playing. I wish all games for all platforms were as well thought out, and produced as well, as this 'game'.
All sarcasim aside... you know - you don't have to be a great graphic artist, or have wonderful music, or even be entirely original to have a game worth uploading, worth sharing, worth playing. 1/5
I didn't care for the gameplay mechanics and it seems a bit hard (bombs and penquins?), but the game is polished, the music is nice, graphics a good for this type of game. 3/5
At first I was irritated with the poor presentation, horrible / incorrect / illogical questions. Yet, I could not stop myself from playing until all screens had been revealed. Slightly humorous, and I don't know why. 3/5
Wave 52 and quiting - no end in sight. All upgrades maxed (except for Attack, lvl14) for the past 5 levels. Getting bored to to repetative gameplay. Graphics are good, like the upgrades, but more are needed. Sound is good - nice attempt, just didn't keep my interest. 3/5
Day3 battle I ran out of ammo. Buying another basic gun did not replenish my ammo. "Try Again" did not replenish ammo. Started a new game - STILL no ammo. Where/ how do I get more ammo? Gun ARE NOT deactivated, the ammo progress bar just keeps cycling. Also - W,S,A,D controlls kept 'locking up' / 'not responding' on occasion. All other screens work (except battle). Looks like fun, keep working on it.
I like the idea - seems original, but the actual game still leaves much to be fixed. Poor/Non-existant instructions - How do I Play? What is the goal? Why can't I shoot the invaders? How do I regenerate the shield? Why is the repair spot off-screen (where you cannot move it with the mouse)? Why can't the enemies shoot me there? Can I win by hiding? Enemies are way stronger than turrets. Why show me a diagonal turrent shot, then not tell me how to aim the turret? After all turrets are gone, how can I possibly make more money to buy new ones?
Please bump if you agree.
First day map has a 'sticking' point just to the left of the exit. I figured out to only get the box (m.gun) from the steps. The unlock of many zombies occurs too quick if you are trying to level up. I like grinding the maps to level up, but only three levels? Buying the H.gun, only to have it replaced with the shotgun on the first box you search, sucks. It's very difficult to see what the contents of the box are while shooting and running. Gun boxes could be perminent unlockables for the various weapons - this would work best with a larger set of weapons, much fewer weapon boxes, and all the unlocked weapons could be selectable throughout the game (or even select one at map start for that day). It'd be great if the survivors gave you a power-up while they are with you. Overall - very enjoyable gameplay, if difficult. Sound FX and music are good, LOVE the 16-bit look and sound. B&W gameplay is a nice touch. 4/5
4 stars - Unique game, fun to play. Graphics and music are polished. It was a bit easy, but I did use the walkthrough for 11 and 27. The in-game achievements should have a game screen to show progress - forwarding to a web page to see a list kind of sucks.
3 stars because I like the attempt. That said, I liked this game better when it was called Monopoly. Every game eventually devolves into hoping to land on and win a Buyout. This becomes very tedious. I've played three games for a few hours each - and I was never close to winning. The only way to lose is to have loan interest to be higher than your income AND never pay the loan down. Game needs lots of work. Kudos for being unique in your game style, love the board game as flash idea.
Bugs I found: Consistently through my game, the third regular tower would not display the current tower 'level' no matter where tower playment was; Never could build more than 1 Money, 1 Slow, and 3 Regular towers; Tower upgrade amount continued to show an upgrade past the maximum, even though the tower was maxed; I was able to 'build' a tower on top of the menu (almost diectly on top of the tower icon) making the menu hard to read.
FYI - ESC cancels the tower build.
Nice start - I wanted to keep playing, but I can't figure out the rules of movement. In some maps I can move off screen, come back with other boxes - and sometimes advance to the next level. Needs a bit more instruction?
Can't switch back after selecting slow gun, seems like a bug. Also the 'dark' scenes are too dark for me, most times I can't read the text. Otherwise, nice concept.
Lots of fun - multiple hours spent watching zombies overrun! I would like to see a 'jump' button, to the last civ, nearest police... maybe a 'follow' button. Also - I think civs should run from the zombies, not walk towards them. Great idea, love the simplicity.
