It's a little bit fun, but only if you play like a level per hour. Otherwise, it get's repetitive and boring.
The crossbow is overpowered. All you have to do is fully upgrade your arrows, hold ASDF at the same time and watch as you obliterate wave upon wave of enemies, build mana and them throw all your troops at them. It's very easy and there's no strategy in it.
The score system looks odd to me, too, as it favours staying at the same level for long periods of time. The more time you spend killing enemies, the higher you score. It generally is and I think it doesmake more sense to be the other way around.
Also, the mute button doesn't work at all. It only mutes the BGM, not the sound effects.
Cool game. Needs some good hand-to-eye coordination. The voice records also add much to the experience. The bad thing is when you miss a tune because of lag =/
When you stomp over an opponent's head, is that supposed to stun him? Cause it happens when they jump over me, but rarely happens when I do it -.-
Is there any trick or is it a glitch/bug?
This is an example of a good sequel: keeps the basic game engine, adding some good features and fixing some bugs/glitches from the previous version. Some sequels differ so much from the previous release that they look like a completelly new game. I think that's not how it was meant to be. It's not the case, here.

The last badge should really be impossible. It's not worth to spend days playing for mere 30 points. The game is cool at the beggining, but you end up doing the same thing over and over again and it gets very boring before day 30 or so. I gave it 3/5.
Some hints for begginers:
1. In the first few levels speed is everything. Jump is also important, so take some points from acceleration and add more speed.
2. Try to compete in races with 4 people against opponents that are in a higher level than yourself, because you get a lot more xp this way if you win.
3. Look for a hat that doubles your experience gain. I believe you get it randomly in the first few tracks.
4. To get the complete bird outfit, win a race with 4 competitors in "Blacklight" for the feet, "This is New York" for the body and "Razor Blade" for the head.
That did very well to me and I were a rank 10 before I noticed, so I hope that helps.
