Cornoth, some of your equips might have a random chance to cast a certain spell, or have an auto-retaliate on them. Check out what equips or badges you're wearing! I can summon Wooly Mammoth or NoLegs sometimes.
I agree with most of the sentiments here. This game is really terrible. The only thing I like about it are the physics mechanics. The balls seem to respawn randomly, and my game ended without a clear reason as well. The trajectory lines only appear occasionally as well - I would have expected a starter/tutorial level with trajectories in. I just guessed all my shots instead. Also, why punish me for making a 'miss' when I'm given a ball that is 100% surrounded by other balls - impossible to make a match!
It is really frustrating in the early levels to have the cleaner work so inefficiently. Especially when the next day starts with all the rooms dirty. Ah well. Hoping for some sweet upgrades to help this out. It's a fun game!
Really? I swam 8000m and gained three levels of swimming? This game thinks I have more time and interest in grinding than I really do. The mini games to train aren't even that fun.
I had to play through a lot to get enough upgrades to defeat the final boss. I ended up beating him with only 3 hp lef. Heck yes. I always love nerdook games.
Also rather annoying how I get a star upgrade, and a bunch of new room options. And then suddenly the guests all want to go bowling. So I appease them. Then they all want an open air cafe, so I appease them further. Then I have to nearly max out my loan to fulfill their further and immediate request for a beauty shop. Now I'm in the red, and my rating went down about 300. Who bowls at a hotel anyway!
Really like this game, but I too am frustrated by the maids. As per typical women, they always seem to be together. They go to every floor together and sometimes even clean the same rooms at the same time. I wish I could either suggest a direction for them [a la Sims, eg] or assign them to a few floors instead of them all only cleaning one floor at a time. Great game though and I'd love to see a second!
Level 37 bothers me. I've known how to do it since I first looked at it, but it requires such precise timing that it makes it very annoying. If I wanted to play with my reflexes, I could've played a shooter.
Bug if you try to skip the last level. Some text pops up with a red error and if you close it, you just get a black screen until you refresh the page.
But I'm really enjoying this game! It's cute, and is long enough, but still creative. I also really love puzzle games with different personalities that have different abilities.
It's also rather annoying when I can see my shapes still moving, but instead of letting any movement pan out, the level ends and I fail. This happens most annoyingly on level 3.
Okay, this game looks seriously awesome. I would love to play it. I don't mind the level loading times. Its the lag. I'm on low quality, I have nothing else open and I have a dual core processor. I see no reason why this game should lag so much that its unplayable, but here I am, unable to play.
So I've finished level 29. Even checked it against a walkthrough and I have the same solution. The game isn't recognizing that I've successfully completed the level though :( Already tried refreshing
Also wishing there were hotkeys for the power-up things. I find that I spend most of my time trying to collect every little ball of money and I don't get to use my powerups. And its been suggested, but a better money collector would be awesome.
Wish I could buy better pathing for the penguins. There was a turtle right next to one, but he wanted the turtle across the map instead. Issue? He was stuck on a wall. Till he exploded. Cute game though.
The guns seem rather useless. I bought the first three, but they seem to have the same amount of power. There should be stats you can see, so you don't just have to rely on the price and assume its better since it costs more. The beginning of the game is very difficult; the learning curve is all wrong. And I hate lengthy tutorials as much as the next person, but the only instruction was 'press s'.
Thank you :)
