Absolutely love the "She lied" guy. This is a great series, my only beef is the dialogue system. When there are multiple questions I could ask a person, like with Ettlethorne at the beginning, it's frustrating to have to click through and then start dialogue all over again. The option to ask another question or say I'm done talking, would be less counter-intuitive in my opinion.
I was pleasantly surprised with the ending. I was fully prepared to hate the message that no matter how much of a jerk some girl is a guy is supposed to cater to her. Good Job, Nerdook. I'm glad you ended this the way you did.
I was surprisingly disappointed with this game. Pastel is usually much better, but this one felt totally on rails. There was no thought needed really to continue it. There's only one thing to click really at any time and the story moves forward. As an interactive story, it's great. As a game though, I felt like there was little in the way of choice.
Fun game, but it lacked some of the best parts of other launch games. Some ability to aim the guy after he's launched to avoid hitting bad things or to try to hit the good things would have been nice, for example. After the flushes and accelerators are gone then you're just free falling and that's left to chance not skill for how far you go. 3/5
There are times when the controls feel kinda loose, like you don't move quite how you expected to, especially with jumps. Usually this isn't a big problem though, except in the last level of the last full floor when there's a couple spots where jumping the wrong amount will hurt you. The final boss battle is also kinda confusing because it's not immediately obvious that you need to go hit him with your mallet after a cheese ball since he's often off-screen when the cheese hits him.
I'll try to do better next time. Thanks!
