OK, so HOW do you get more GP? I'm stuck at 19, can't buy a thing.

OK, I would like the game to give me some indication of how many enemies are left. I know there are comments on the left but I don't see them all (I'm trying to stay alive!) and can't keep track anyway.

OK, so when you are USEC, how do you know where the beacon is placed so you can deactivate it??

I expect this would be a good game if I had even HALF a clue what I was doing!! Not sure it helps to be on a Powerbook with a trackpad and no mouse. In any case, the graphics are impressive.

Third: Nice little touches like being able to create and modify a character. I was a surprised when the heavy duty armor negated the effect of the "staff of go anywhere" (I don't remember the actual name). I figured Nerdook was GOLDEN when that pairing showed up. But, I FINALLY beat Hard with that combination, Monk and my edited player (Defender). I don't remember all the other equipment they had, I think my player had the long range bow and the "full life if you die" thing. Plus Nerdook was sensitive in letting those who shrivel and die when they see a spider skip the spider monsters. I didn't try that so I don't know what you would get instead. I presume whatever showed up on the games I played where I didn't hit the spiders on the first dungeon level. Clearly Ace Blue is a much better gamer than I, it took me a LOT of tries to get through Hard, not sure I could make it through Nightmare. And as to Nerdook's response to Ace Blue, I think that is one reason WHY it is a good game.

Second comment: The only thing that really threw me was when some of the enemies decided to fight on my side but I never could figure out which they were until I either couldn't attack them or they got a turn and didn't do anything on their own. Either I missed it or maybe there could be some little indication of their traitor status. I used Monk a lot for the 2 HP per kill (though I wish it were a BIT less random - like if one character has 1 HP left and another has 10, give it the the really weak one! Maybe a quick algorithm that says "if any are < 25% health, they get the boost, otherwise random.) Depending on the enemies, I would bounce my other characters around so Monk could get the kill, only to find out that Monk was in position only to kill a "friend".

OK, I will never be a Twit since I can't even keep my comments to 1000 characters! So I'm going to post 3 times ;) I think some of you are being too harsh. This is a fine and engaging game. I spent many hours with it. Admittedly, I'm not a "serious gamer". There is randomness to the "inventory" that you can buy as well as the order the monsters show up in the game so it isn't a memorize "do this, then that, then this other thing" to get past where you died before like many games. Yes, you memorize which monsters do what so you can first attack the ones that launch ever more little nasties. I say Nerdook get 5 stars!

Does anyone else have problems with the game freezing mid action? I have a MacBook Pro retina 15", 16G memory, 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 Quad-Core, flash storage (no hard drive). I know it isn't a "gaming machine" but it should be able to handle this game. I've not had this problem with other games. I've tried it on Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Safari. ALL hang up, cursor doesn't move, my character dies.... a LOT. Bruce
