I'm level 56, almost 57 and I'm quitting. I don't do Pay to Win, so games like this are only interesting for a little while before you get to a certain point where there's really no use in continuing on. Not being able to use your Advanced and Expert treasure maps unless you're a VIP is a real game killer.
What happened to the PVP? I'm not getting the button to finish it. It's also not showing the fighters on either side. This is happening in both the challenge and the exploring parts.
I really enjoyed this game for a while but since that update it's been so hard to get the game to load. Sometimes it loads. Sometimes it doesn't. I'm not going to switch to another browser just for a game. Oh well! This one is off of my playlist now.
I've really been enjoying the game but I've run into a couple things that really impede progress. One is the limit on how many friends you can have. You really need to take a friend with you to beat some levels. If the friends you accepted don't play regularly, it severely limits you. Then you've got to look at dropping friends and replacing them. It's annoying. Also, the amount of gold it costs to level up some of these characters can be a bit much once you've played a while. I need almost $400k to evolve my warlord and it's just taking way too long (days) to accumulate that kind of money.
I really enjoyed this game in the early stages but as it's gone on, there's too much sitting around and waiting or you've got to pay to do anything. If you want to upgrade your heroes skills, it can take a day, and you can't use them during that time. Oh and my Novice heroes have been at max level for quite a while and gems to promote up to elite aren't easy to come by. I think they want you to buy those too. And then you get to the point where you can't make your heroes powerful enough to beat the areas that you need to make then better, unless you pay. Don't even get me started on how hard it is to get different types of heroes. I've got all them gems/stones for upgrading a "beast" but I keep getting archers and clerics when I buy new heroes. No thanks. I'm done.
Cool game. I enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like was the inventory system. Too much back and forth. Games similar to this have an inventory bar at the bottom and it's much more user-friendly. Just a thought. Also, I completed the game, placing all of the items on the altar and activating it, which was supposed to banish the relentless but I still get possessed by it. How come?
I get a black screen when I try to play the new Poisoner's dungeon. I get the scene where they talk with the bad guys and then it goes black when it should load the battle.
Love this game! So much fun! Is there any possibility that we could "tool tips" when hover over something in the items or crafting? Different items give bonuses against certain things (like fire or wind) but I can't always remember all of the symbols.
I played this game on my phone a week or two ago and thought it was okay but the controls drove me nuts. I find it much easier to play on the computer.
So what's up with Survival Mode? I've gone the full length of the progress meter and finally the vehicles have stopped and are glowing red. They just continue to shoot while not moving. Just for fun, I activated their special weapons (invulnerability, emp, and sat support) and they seem to be stuck on too. It seems like there's no end to survival mode and now it's just frozen.
I love this game! The humor is spot on. Love how it's free to play but doesn't push you to spend $$. The one thing I wish I could do is sell items. I seem to be accumulating quite a stockpile of things I don't need.
I agree with Av99 on that way to go back to where you last left off. It takes forever to get back to where I last explored and most of my day is spent watering the farm. Oh and the items in my chests (standard chests, not the new bigger ones) just disappeared again! I had nice stockpile of seeds for the current and last season. I look in the morning and it's all gone except 1 bag of carrot seeds. My food chest was full of berries and meat. I go in and it's got 1 berry in it. I'm getting frustrated. I'd better not play again until it's fixed.
I seem to be losing items again. I had 2 chests in my house. One had stocked up food and a couple other things. The other had some seeds from last season. I went to town to pay off my loan and when I returned, one chest was empty except for 1 bunch of berries and the other just had the current season's seeds.
Okay, so now I see that I can choose who I'm hitting. I'm also seeing that my "energy" starts building the more I use my magic arrow skill. It builds enough so that I can use my scattershot. I don't recall this being explained in the tutorial. It's better now that I know but it's not exactly intuitive.
I'm really enjoying the game but I'd like it a lot better if the combat were turn-based and I could select which enemy I targeted. If the combat is just going to be automatic, how about a speed up button? Also, why is my magic (the blue stuff) or whatever it is that my skills use, empty when I first log on for the day? Shouldn't it recharge? It does recharge in battle but very slowly.
I'm suddenly having a problem with my hoe disappearing. For a little while, every time I took it out of my chest, it went in my backpack. Next, I took it out and it disappeared. Now I try to craft a hoe and I never get one. I'm currently hoeless!
I really enjoy this game and I'm really liking the new Long Night expansion but I really think they need to get their priorities straight. The one thing this game is sorely lacking is FILTERS and SORTING! When you've got about 50 sworn swords, you should have to scroll through them all. Same thing with boons. Why can't I say I'm looking for Battle Boons? And what about when I'm equipping my sworn swords? I shouldn't have to go through pages upon pages of Intrigue items when I'm looking for something for my Merchant. Filters and sorting are basics that should be included in something like this before adding extras.
I'm not finding the stamina bar to be much of a hindrance yet. I've been playing just about all day. I took a break for a bit and then went back at it. I've noticed that the final stage of an area seems to be the best experience for your stamina payoff.
Glad you got it figured out. You can always check the fan wiki when you have questions.
