Today I went back to this game after over a year since last playing it. I still love this game! I like it better than most of the newer stuff coming out on Kong.
Any chance we could have the option to disable Auto-Pause? I run this on an old computer a lot and when I leave the screen to do something else while things load, the game pauses instead of loading. With this being a turn-based combat type game, I don't see a need for Auto-Pause.
I'm really enjoying the game though!
I've been playing this for a while and there's one thing that drives me nuts. The boons. You always have to scroll through pages of them. Why not have filters that allow you to choose what type of boon (Battle, Trade, Intrigue) and the rarity of the boon?
I loved this game to start but then I quickly got frustrated/bored with it. It became too much of a grind too soon. It seemed to take forever to level up and the battles were too slow. I also had a heck of a time versus the Obelisks boss fight. Before I knew it, most of my playing of the game was just putting in torch codes hoping to get something that might make a difference.
I really wanted to like this game more than I did. I found the controls to be a bit of a pain on my laptop. The look of the game is great though and I love the idea of it. It was just too frustrating for me to play with the controls as they are.
So I'm not very experienced with Rogue-like games. Most RPGs I play, I'm hoarding loot to sell at a shop at some point. Is that the case here? Or should I just throw out whatever I don't need?
I'm really enjoying this game even though it's really slow on my old work computer. I'm sure it'll run much better on my home laptop though. Keep up the good work!
And I'm done with this game. Spent over 20k soulstones on a POL event and didn't even get any T3s, nevermind any T4s. Gameplay gets pretty stagnant after 30+ levels. At that point it just takes too long to improve your characters enough to make a difference. So you fight the same battles over and over, day after day. Why bother? I'm done.
The Mystic is so frustrating! I hate having to click twice for each card. I'm usually buying 40+ cards and to have to buy 10, click away, buy 10 more, and so on... it's annoying. Why not just reveal them all? And is there any rhyme or reason to how combining Mystic cards works? It drives me nuts when I get back one of the same cards I just combined. And combining better cards doesn't really seem to make much of a difference.
This game seems to be broken. I go to the Mall and can't get out. I even checked the walkthrough to see if I did something wrong. I'm supposed to be able to click the trash bin and get a paper cup. I'm also supposed to be able to click the girl at the store to get a mission from her. Nothing happens when I click these.
It's too bad. It looked like it was going to be a fun little adventure.
I would really like it if the sort worked across multiple bags. It's annoying to have to drag each piece from bag to bag when I'm consolidating after selling things off. Also, I'd like to be able to filter my inventory. I'd like it to be easier to find a level 18 axe when I'm looking for it.
I really do love this game but these were the little nit-picky things that came to mind while I was playing today.
I was really enjoying this game and playing it for hours daily for about a month. I'm a level 43 now and I'm getting a bit bored. I log in each day, collect taxes, buy cards, try to fuse, try to combine, donate a small amount to the guild, and then log off. I can't be bothered with the questions anymore and the challenges take too long due to waiting on others. Maybe it's just me losing interest. Maybe it's the slower grind of the higher levels that are making me lose interest?
Another thing that really bothers me is how hard it gets to combine cards past "good". I should be able to have a decent chance to combine 4 or 5 "rare" cards. 2 "common" cards combine at around 50%. 3 "good" cards combine at about 50% too. Why wouldn't that progression be steady?
I'd like to play it and it looks like I'd enjoy it but I can't get past how the mouse pointer changes. It's movement slows to a crawl (compared to the rest of the browser window) and it disappears if I move too quickly.
The same thing that happened to Deiji12 just happened to me. I was actually in the Character screen when it froze. I had the Void stone and three other purple loot items. The screen was locked on the character screen so that everything I clicked told me that I had to place the cursor over the item first. I couldn't change tabs. I couldn't sell an item. I couldn't grab an item to equip it. It was just stuck in a loop. So I had to restart. I figured that I was there long enough that the auto-save should have worked. When it reloaded I was north of the city talking to a guy that gave me a quest to kill something even bigger than the Void guy. I went to this guy and got my ass kicked pretty easily. I bet if I had that Void stone, it might help a bit.
Ugh! I lost my game. I've been running and saving this game since I first saw it at the Kong front page. Now it's brought me back to some game from when they first introduced pet. WTF?
I may have found a small bug. After going into my home and removing some items from the floor (skeleton and pick that were there to start), I now have the "Removing Items - Space To Cancel" message stuck on the top of the screen. Nothing major, just an annoyance.
Hiya! I've just fixed this. It should now load in the background :)
