after several tries, i am noticing i can't save a deck regardless of i get timed out not. i clicked on "save", and went back to another menu, comes back, the deck is gone.
ok, i tried it again, and clicked on "save" after every changes I've made. after few minutes, i got timed out again. and.... the "saves" didn't work. the deck is still empty. now i am going to try again using firefox.
i think i found a bug... i am somehow allowed to continue even though my life reaches 0... not sure how exactly, but it has something to do with catapults... maybe 2 catapults in a row, the first one got me to zero, and i got hit again afterwards. it happened twice tonight already as i was playing against my new arena deck
very nice game... Metroid meets Fire Emblem :) one great thing about this game that few mentioned is the music... i can even have it play in the background and it'd not feel repetitive
about arena "streaks"... i used to be able to continue even after i log off... but now whenever i log off or close browser, any winning streak i have ended too. is this a permanent new change...?
some tips
1) best cheap common summons in the game: mud golems and orc scouts. you can basically survive with them for a long time even if your gold mine is stuck at +5.
2) rest of the deck i go with 12 gold mines, 3 iron and crystal mine each... none of those fancy gold mine stuff cuz by the time you can use them you've probably already have full control of the game. also those cards that make you draw cheaper
3) best rare cards: the floating eye balls... multi-kill, longest range, hit hard. (the +25 soul card is almost a must) nuff said. Itachi also pretty cool (naruto char?)
4) rest of the deck i basically just mess around trying out random semi-rare cards
5) a group of lizard archers probably the best cheap long rangers(except against the eye ball where they'll just die at same time after 2 hits lol)
would be nice to AUTO ACCEPT items from treasure chests unless i choose not to!!! i think i've already lost 5 rare items because i didn't click on them
to those who haven't figured out... in order for the game to go on lag free, PUT THE GAME INTO BACKGROUND (or switch to a different window), the game would go on at normal speed... EXTREMELY useful if you know you are gonna win eventually without doing anything... you can also do it in spurts just to speed up the game
quickest way to get gold IMO
keep repeating lv 13 (black goblins), make sure you have a sky dragon... order your troops to assault when available and just go take a shower or have dinner... you should return with around 500k gold.
i ran it a few times and end up just upgraded everything.... and then i beat the epic levels within one day

is it possible to beat the huge fire spinning titan in lv 16 hard mode...? i end up stopped the time and ordered all my troops to go past him and destroy the castle instead
that guy seems to have more HP than the epic snow ogre...
good game... but "timestop" might be a bit too useful... ;) then again, it's needed to outmanuver the ridiculously "epic" monsters...
the "heroes" in this game end up just sucks... they are only useful in the first minute of the harder levels and then i have to retreat all of them just so they don't keep getting killed which would prevent my titans and strong units from being created...
strategy for hard mode.... aim for QUICK matches. forget trying upgrade your resources because they'll always go down faster than they go up. create decks with small cards (i created 3... one for quick offense, one for quick build, and another with quick both... choose whatever suitable for that particular match) and all the "add" cards to get what you need as quick as possible...
the great thing is, the cpu is pretty dumb even in hard mode... it won't know what you are trying to do and would still kept thinking long term.... and sometimes do stupid decisions like using sacrifice when you have NOTHING TO BE SACRIFICED and it'd be just killing one of his guys and waste one turn. i beat one of the last castles in like 3 turns with quick offense cuz their defense is like 15 castle 5 wall at first
maybe consider lower the mana usage on all the attack spells... as it is, i don't see any reason using them rather than use heals if the priority is save on as much mana/hp. think about it... for 25 mana of heal you can save 100 hp, but no way you get to save 100 hp from 3-4 uses of attack spell unless your int is ridiculous high against some monster with insane offense which i haven't seen yet.
It does only damage ground creatures, are you sure something didnt cause the gull to lose flying?
