@ Velstrom1: The only "permanent" upgrade is the multiplier you buy with creds, everything else resets when you collect your AIs. However, as has been pointed out, by the time you get into the 10s or 100s of trillions of AIs, killing off about 1.4 trillion of them to boost production for the rest of your current run will result in more AIs in the long run.
I know Kongregate doesn't like giving badges to Idle games, but I think this game deserves at least one. If they're really concerned, they could make it something insanely difficult, like getting 1000 Newspapers lol.
Could really use an upgrade for the Pump. Later asteroids, the pump as is makes so little difference that it's just not worth using. Either a purchasable upgrade, or an unlocked upgrade (for specific achievements), would be awesome. Still a great game, good job.
The Critter could really use some costumes, sold in a separate shop. Maybe the costumes add bonus stats, maybe they are purely cosmetic, that's not the point. My suggestion is for two reason. 1 - Playing through the game for long periods, especially when chasing down High Scores, it would be nice to be able to customize Mr Critter's appearance a little. 2 - For those people in endgame, who have purchased and fully upgraded the final kicker, it would be really great to have something to actually spend the millions of crystals we get. =)
ok, not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but it has happened to me on several separate runs now... when I reach the third stage, the water stage, the critter hits the "ground"/water, and enters into a "spin" that accelerates him at high speed along the ground for the entire distance of the stage... mines do not explode, the critter does not bounce up, speed never decreases, and I can't collect the chests since a certain altitude is required to do so... he just keeps going and going, and the runs won't end unless I manually trigger the return to main screen
The biggest problem with the Kingpin challenge, I now realize, is that even with all 3 upgrades, you need a 100% perfect run to achieve a score of 38000... With even 1 mistake, you will fall just short of the goal =(
I agree with rjdjdaw, in particular, the Kingpin challenge seems like it is almost impossible to get the second and third trophies without achieving the third upgrade to slow down the racer... but with a 100:1 score to XP ratio, getting that third upgrade takes FOREVER
TIP: Money challenge can be easily passed by saving up $4750. Buy the snail named Daddy ($2750) and upgrade his speed to level 5 ($2000). Daddy's special spawns a robotic baby snail which explodes after a short time, awarding you with cash. I am unsure as to the exact amount each will generate, since it seems to vary, but with 3 of them available you should easily hit the required level as long as you grab SOME coins along the way. Daddy starts out slow, so if you don't have at least speed 5 AND hit a couple boosts, you will not finish under the time limit.
Next update the pump will be more efficient ;)
