Still no answer. I looked up. The worst mistake of my life. He was laying on the ground, with slash marks through his chest. I quickly
ran to the fallen birch, and retrived my Nisome Dagger. Where, oh, where could the creature be? I thought to myself. “If only Dernind was in good condition. That’s it!” mumbled under my breath, I
could revive him with my magic ability. I then closed my eyes, feeling an energy surge through me, letting the energy take control. My hands were burning, my entire body numb from lack of energy.

“Zach. . .” I heard Dernind strugle to talk. “Zach. It. . . it. . .” Then his eyes closed.
I heard a growling from behind. He was saying it’s behind me! I realized. I spun as fast as I could, just to get a look at the 10 foot tall ogre. Dear Duneon, I thought, I’m too tired to
use magic, and all I have is my dagger. I could imagine what a slash from that creatures claws could do to me. If it almost killed Dernind, who’s two years older than me, it’ll probably slash
me to bits. An arrow sprouted from it’s jaw. That’s all I saw before it back-handed my head.

I woke up in the king’s castle. “Zach,” King Haelyn said, “What happened back there? Your friend Dernind should’ve died. How did you save him?”

I shifted my eyes. “I used my magic. I can bend Essence to my will.” I replied, getting ready to be thrown in the dungeon.

“Zach. I hope you know that you’re never going to see your family now. I’ll have to send you to the Phoenix academy.” Haelyn said, in a voice that wasn’t meant to make me sad.

“The what?” I was really confused. He wasn’t going to hang me. He’s sending me to an academy.

The king sighed. “Bash will tell you about it.” One of the kings guards walked into view.

“Zach, this is Bash. You guys should get going, if you want to get to the academy before nightfall.”

We then left. We walked for hours on end, not stopping for a single thing. This is how I became a member of the Phoenix academy.

Well, I’m on the planet now. I got introduced to the crew :Vince the engineer/cyborg, general Gemma, the ‘grunts’(infantry), me, Josh, Bill and Joseph. Small group, I know. I saw my first inhabatent well creature of the planet. We call it the ‘B.A.A.T.’. Body of AATurret. It tried to eat me. Luckly my GSEDI has good accuracy. the things head was like a bomb, it exploded and nearly blinded me. if i didnt wear armour, we figure I’d be acidified. Turns out the GSEDI kills on impact to weak fleshed creatures. I’ll tell you of our little hike. It starts off normal, suns shining bright, bugs all around us, when suddenly arrows, not any arrows but explosive arrows, came raining down. 1 got my air tank, id have died if Josh didnt split his air supply with me. But, i heard talking, only me. I looked around, and time seemed to slow down. but i saw a weird looking creature, vibrant leather(i think) clothing, a bone dagger in hand with a scaled sword, white mouthless mask(i hope its a mask), and weird hair. dark black with, i think white spikes coming out. it was talking with no sign of movement. i tried to move but i couldent. then the 4’5 creature struck Josh’s air supply tank but repaired mine. Then it dissapeared. time went to normal. Josh was sprawled on the grouned dead. no one but me saw his death. The thing i saw wasnt the B.A.A.T., but an acual thing that sets up villages (we think cause we saw some weird building in the distance), so the Gen. was asking (her exact words) “What the hell happened to my best grunt?!”. That PO’d me bad. I was twice the grunt he was.well, we were back at the ship around 2 hours later to rest up. I started to silently choke in my room. then i layed down and took off my air mask. i looked in my mirror. I cried in fear, well i didnt. I had a black and white mothless mask. I put my air mask back on. waited 2 hours, and i was human. Crap, that was freaky. well, thats all i can write, my Gen. is calling me.

Well, I, Jon Glen, guesss I should tell you how I got stuck on this planet which we call ‘X-C-56’. Well, it’s the year 3X, 5 billion yrs. from where you shall be reading this. Us humans have conquored the moon along with most of this universe. The reason I say that, is because 1 universe is like a galaxy to a multiverse. But I allready said to much. Any ways, humans and aliens in this universe brought together the U.F.S.1. wich stands for ‘United Forces of Sector 1’. Sector 1 is our universe, the first to be made. I’m in that military. I’m the only 1 of my family who had the chance to move to the top hemisphere. Instead, I used the money they gave me to get them all to the moon, and i stayed on Earth. That gave me my chance. While on the shuttle, which was about to crash, I took the controls, at 16yrs old, 9 years younger than someone who should be flying it, and landed it perfectly. It turns out that one of the passengers was the general. Also the only female in the UFS1. Thats when i joined. It was 2 yrs later, when i was officially old enough to join i got my 1st big mission. Flying a shuttle to X-C-56. P.S. The Earth will change. rember that. The southeren hemisphere is poor and torn apart. Why? Probably because oil’s gotten so high in price people started to mke up ideas to get more. But the gouverment doesnt want it that way. The northren is the riches, whilst the moons the normal.
