To the developer: Play Hotline Miami. Then play this again. This could be similar, if the controls were tighter and the collisions were better. As is, it's uninteresting at best.
The problem is that shields and heals are nearly useless. The enemy can easily match, if not outpace heals, and shields last a single turn and only prevent a small amount of damage. A larger board would help, but I would still rarely choose either over straight up damage, unless all my damage squares are useless.
I played this game long ago, and after finding it again, it's still great. I haven't looked to see if this ever left beta, but if not, there's still time.
DEX does seem somewhat overly useful. Finish a match, almost dead, and my rogue still has three quarters of his life, simply because he's the only one who can block regularly
Oh, almighty radio god, thank thee for this bountiful harvest of... road flares and glowsticks. Scratch that, I'm done with you radio god. You couldn't drop this anywhere near me with the million flares signaling my position as clearly as the light of the sun, and these are as useful as my foot. Less actually, because at least my feet can run!
Oh, almighty radio god. We gather here to pray for thee for mighty weapons, that we may smite our foes in thine name. Also, for meds, that your loyal followers may not die. Amen.
@JBGamer more bullets means you are less likely to get "No Bullet" The trick does... nothing, in as far as I can tell. Like the game said, premium means double XP. PVP is team games (?) where PVE is Player vs Everyone; essentially any kill adds to that total.
I play games like this just to prove to myself that I hate myself... But the game is excellently done, a great mix of fear and the anticipation thereof.
Fun game, only found one bug so far: If you close the shop then accidentally try to reload before you move, the game freezes. Found this after the second hacked door on level 3
Fun and innovative, same blah blah. I can't criticize the music as I'm on mute, but I'm impressed that the game was actually interactive enough that it didn't need it. (Are you sure this is a tower defence game?) But it was the little things that turn this from a great game to a... more great game. The sheep and goats, the descriptions in the encyclopedia, and especially Vez'nan's quotes. How many movies does he even mention there?
Thank you also!
