I wanted to like this game, I played through most the story and really tried but unfortunately it had enough issues that it made the game feel like a chore rather than a fun rewarding experience. The primary issue is the lag. After a certain point in the game grinding becomes the main focus and with th elag as bad as it is actions take about 10x longer than they should. Reloading reduces the lag and sometimes gets rid of it for a short while but it always comes back. If they fixed that and some smaller issues I would actually pay for this but as is I just can't even be bothered to play.
I know it isn't the best solution but I have been having a problem with not being able to help my ally up as well. If you save and quit while you are still in the room with them and then reload your save it rescues your ally. No idea what is causing the bug but hopefully that helps.
I am not sure what is going on but the game seems to have deleted my save. I was not in private browsing and did not delete any cookies, temporary files or cache. I am using firefox if that makes a difference. I hope the game developers look into this because it doesn't look like I am the only one having save game issues
the game seems decent overall but for me at least it is a bit bugged. Sometimes when attacking with a character's basic attack it will first attack with the previous basic attack used. this isn't so bad for the archer and wizard as their attack do the same damage but when you are following with a harder hitting basic attack then it reduces your overall damage output. I hope this bug gets fixed as it damages the enjoyment of an otherwise simple but amusing game.
@cirifax I had the same thing happen to me. It looked like I fell through the floor or something and all my health drained. I think that it is some new bug on the game because I never had that happen before.
using a shielder and a rogue is way to overpowered. Can keep invincible permanently once you get you chaotic energy charged up. Just keep the rogue protected and then double strike constantly and mana strike when you run low and you will never have to worry unless your rogue gets stunned or slowed. Beat the boss at level 8 without using any potions using this strategy and it is probably possible to do so at lower levels.
I think Villan's suggestion on how to progress through the game is pretty good but I feel the monk master is far better for fighting bosses as you can kill even the bosses in only 2 attacks with the three hands technique. I also recommend using Thunder Dragon for most normal levels as it has high hp and its shock attack recharges very quickly allowing you to gather characters very effectively.
If you click the white flag it goes to a screen giving you the option to surrender and pauses the game. Try using that next time you need to do any chores :-)
urgh I don"t think I can play this game until sticky keys are resolved keeps getting my character stuck waking against a wall leading to me losing because I can't get to the fingers as they run off with my flag.
pretty fun game overall. I enjoy genre crossovers and a shooter/tower defense/rpg is up my alley. Seems to have an issue with sticky keys on my computer though. Is anyone else having this issue?
for some reason when trying to play this game it will get to the menu screen but when I click on any of the options it doesn't seem to do anything. If anyone has a recommendation on how to fix this issue please post it in the comments as I would love to play this game. I have tried this with both internet explorer and firefox and have the most recent versions of flash and java installed for both. Sorry if this request seems a little off subject.
