@Avenger9 You're comment made me lol. I keep getting lost-haven't left the house yet. But the pants were upstairs somewhere. Maybe it was up a couple sets of stairs.
I cannot believe I have lost EVERYTHING for the second time now. If I could I would be writing numerous swear words & calling people very very ugly names. And yet, it gave me points for my achievements (except completing the game), but NONE OF THE LEVELS ARE COMPLETE! I am so angry...
You can use 'M' for mute in this game. I can still have sound from a second tab or window. I also have easy access to the physical volume control knob on my desktop computer speakers. I guess laptops are different? Don't know, don't have one. My personal preference is always a choice to have sound effects with or without music as opposed to all or nothing.
Enjoyed the game & love the graphics! However I wasn't sure it was saving my progress until I took a gamble at 17 completed & went out & back in. Maybe next time around you could let us know progress is saved? (I have gotten burned on a few other games thinking it was saving when it wasn't...). 4/5
I found the microtrial in Outer Squiggleville. It is a different place than where I found the star. Now if I could just make the jumps I'll get everything for the level!
POSSIBLE SPOILER!! In Outer Squiggleville I got a star at the end of what I thought was the microtrial. But when I hit pause & look at STATS it doesn't show microtrial highlighted. I never had a good run before & never got the star until this time, so that's why I thought I did the micro right, or in time or whatever. Halp? thx (pls pls msg me)
OMG! Was almost through & have lost everything!! I cleared Form & Search history 'cos I did some banking transactions, but that shouldn't have cost me my game! wth crapcrapcrap... argh!!
I really really wish I could be better at this game! I think it's my timing? 5/5 'cos the problems I have are all my fault. I can never figure out if I should jump or just run my a$$ off. Or at what point while running my a$$ off do I jump?
FROM THE DEVELOPER'S WEB SITE comicbookrpgs.com. WELL, THIS CERTAINLY EXPLAINS WHY THERE IS SO MUCH WRONG WITH THIS GAME!!:
"The demo for John Turner #1 has been removed, it was outdated and did not contain many new features that made it into the final version. We will update the demo ASAP. For now, you can enjoy the free unique episode on Armorgames.com "Immortal Souls: The Dark Crusade"
Immortal Souls: John Turner #1 is now available for $14.99 featuring 14 chapters of exciting gameplay. "
As in all games, I LOVE separate sound controls for music and sound effects. I like the sound effects, but because the music has 2b looped, it gets tiresome. So if the developers are reading comments & taking suggestions, please take this into consideration. I hope I'm not the only player who feels this way!
Definitely needs a better tutorial. Don't understand the 3 icons on the left. Even when 'lit up', can't necessarily use it. Armor color I finally understood, HOWEVER, you can still kill &/or take points away with a different color tile chain despite what the hint says. And it should be explained that once the armor color changes to green, you can use any color tile. (At least that's what it seems. Again, tutorial pls!) I like the graphics & the tiles make for a pleasant change from the usual. But sadly, as usual, upgrades are way too expensive. Also, I'd suggest one free tile shuffle per battle. 3/5. And did I mention the tutorial needs work? This could be a really great game with just a few tweaks.
@Rakelnahe When you click edit & the tracks come up, click Start again TWICE very quickly (taking you to edit & out to start again) & the tracks will disappear. You might get a small line where the ball started to fall, but it shouldn't get in your way. That way you can clear the screen of the tracks w/out going all the way back thru the menu to the level you're on. Sheesh! I hope that made sense!
Great game 5/5.
Welcome :)
