Item labels needed. Environment doesn't change...for example i picked up a tube of something from the bathroom sink, and it was still there, but also in my inventory.
I literally just held the up key for the entire race while looking at my pile of chips and eating them. And won. On more than one level. I suppose the boost might come in handy on later levels, when I could hold the up key the entire time, and hold z when the meter gets full.
Controls for the car were very poor. I personally didn't mind the waypoints. The lockpicking was annoying. Maybe take a hint from the elder scrolls. They have made several lock picking mini games that worked well. The safe cracking mini game I'd like to see something more stimulating and related to safe cracking than memorize the pattern.

I'll give one star for it wasn't buggy, and I suppose another for having a semblance of graphics, but there's only about 20 seconds of gameplay, my plane did not fly like an airplane, the other planes didn't fly like airplanes. Add some levels, maybe change how the control system works (or make it something other than planes, like tanks), maybe implement some sort of upgrade system.
Take the warning sound out completely. There's always missiles coming...we get it. The indicator on the right is plenty. Also an upgrade system with the coins would be cool. The retro graphics aren't bad.
