It's a really fun game! It does start to feel "grindy" by the end, though. I think it could use a variety of power-ups (shield, double cash/exp, double damage) instead of just health, and maybe some mini-bosses to mark the distance? But overall it's great.
Great game. Fun and balanced; I didn't max out upgrades until the last level. It may get easier to win towards the end, but I like the gratification of destroying the enemy. Nice job.
I was foolish enough to pay these guys, hoping that the unit upgrades would be worthwhile enough to make the game more fun to play. Imagine my chagrin when I take my freshly minted units out, only to suffer defeat and find that they now take 45 minutes to heal. I guess I have a different philosophy about gameplay in that I assumed paying the developer would grant me some advantage rather than punishment for my advancement. I guess you think that your game is fun enough to keep me throwing money at it like an addict. Instead I'm walking away.
It's a really fun game, and it had me hooked for awhile. But at the higher levels, it just seemed to get tedious. I had a well leveled player, but continually having to please the boss, team, fans, girlfriend and sponsors ended up being troublesome, especially when the energy drinks are so expensive. On top of that arguing with high winds almost every single match drained the fun of it for me. I understand a few matches in a season, but when you're team is pissed at you (along with everyone else) and you only get a couple chances a match, having them be difficult shots against a fast goalie with high winds made it no fun. There is probably a better way to ramp the difficulty without killing the enjoyment of the game.
First try: 5548 deaths. Second try: 1821. Third try: don't know yet, but I lose no matter what for spending so much time on this godforsakenly addictive game. Nice job YMM315.
