Guys if you select what you can build it's not the same game. What you're playing here is bejeweled with enemy robot aliens. If you could just pick whatever then it wouldn't be the same game at all.
I've been hooked on your games ever since The Museum of Broken Memories, but you, sir, are no Dante. I wish you'd leave out the contemporary political jabs, because they distract from the story sometimes.
If only it weren't so glitchy. It's beyond frustrating to put in enough time to build a cool celle, only to have it suddenly rearrange itself. Even worse are the giant hexes that float off on their own only to be destroyed, resulting in your death.
This game shows that the developer has some really good potential but I have to wonder if it was play tested. Some things just make it frustrating at times, like having bombs dropped from off the screen when you're trying to protect the repair blimp, and having your turrets shooting the sheep and gold. And the dialogue runs out of steam pretty quickly (shocked).
But all in all, it's still a mostly enjoyable, lighthearted stormwinds derivative.
Idunno if it's because of the firing animation, but it seems to me that guard towers have the potential to become EASILY the most powerful because rangers and wizards sort of... max out their firing rate. I mean, the stat decreases but they don't seem to shoot any faster. Meanwhile, I have a shock/bomb tower that is firing off overcharged cannon balls as fast as my CPU can handle and killing boss enemies as soon as they come into range.
Just an idea, have you guys ever considered doing a car version of this? It'd be about the same thing except with a reverse added. I think it'd be fun.
And, after switching computers, I've just noticed a HUGE difference in difficulty between systems. Lag seems to have previously made my units far less effective.
I even sold off all my units on level 8 to avoid having them blown up by the air waves. The problem is the APCs that follow them. With the accelerating shield, they're at my base in, no exaggeration, 1 second. They're at the base before the guns can even turn to aim where they were. Mounted guns don't fire, and the cannon shots end up hitting the ground about the same time my base is destroyed. I even tried hitting them with an airstrike, but that didn't affect them in time to save the base. I like a challenge, but this is artificial difficulty.
Wait, so all the closure I get to this neat storyline is "There's something else out there," then I blow it up, and then... not even a "Conglaturation. This story is happy end?" Nothing?
Try getting him stuck in a cannon, then shooting him along the ground into another cannon. I got like 350,000 on just that one move, and still had all my power smashes left over.
Alright, after 10 times shooting the wrong guy on the first mission because there are like a million dudes with goatees, sunglasses (at night) and full heads of hair I'm getting a little sick of this.
