Finally found the mangoes in Tripoli. My issue now is the journal really doesn't show any useful information about quests. We need to know how many of what is going where and I just can't seem to find it. Makes the journal somewhat pointless.
Is there ANY possible way to have the Battle search get levels that are remotely close to your own? I'm 28, and keep getting 11s and 40s. Come on. I get that you want us to buy gold but can you be a little less obvious about it?!
I have no idea what anything does. There's no description for towers or upgrades. What towers work well vs. what monsters? Are there any special properties? What are the strengths and weaknesses of, say, fire vs. acid? Tooltips, please!
Dart traps not showing up. I got the first one from the tutorial, but after that first trap it takes my money, the arrows show up like I'm placing it, but there's no icon on the map and it does no damage. Shame. Seems like a fun game, but pretty broken. No rating at this time.
Just an idea, but some kind of suppression system for planets we don't want to advance would be nice. Every time a system hit a certain level of tech, you could assign a ship type to attack it. Level 4 = Fighter, 5 = Cruiser, etc. Of course, if you don't have the biomass, you are out of luck!
Could be a top game but for a few things. No rally point for swordsmen, no reset or replay map option (why why why don't developers do this for all TD games?!), no "Normal" option, which makes it very grindy. And no, not being able to target closest to the treasure is not necessarily a "good thing". Your swordsman block so your archers can concentrate on the biggest threats. Particularly when you don't have any type of spells to get those one or two that get through. Those closest to the treasure are the biggest threats. If you don't agree then compromise and add target priority. When you add the big ogre types in that mow through your swordsmen, it becomes that much more important. 3/5 for now. The graphics are cute and the interface is easy to understand. The maps are pretty good too, they do make you think. Right now it's just lacking in key areas for a higher rating.
Pumpkins are awesome! :D
