Whoa. This is an achievement in online gaming. Although it started with a generic platformer base, it managed to obtain a really, really, odd story, with a lot of fun and challenge, mixed in with massive replayability in the form of treasures and challenges. But, for me, and many other gamers here I expect, the part that shone brightest, was the weapons system. First of all; that many weapons in an online game, wield by enemies alone, is a rare sight, but then letting the player be able to obtain them, by killing and juggling the enemies, was where it really stood out. I loved seeing an enemy with a Katana and thinking "I'm having that.".
The only, only, niggle, is that the challenges often forced you back and forth through the level to put chickens in a coup for example, which became a tad tedious after a while. But it really is a minor issue.
Personally I think you should be able to kill guards, but occasionally those you killed get replaced, or if another guard sees a dead guard, they send more in or something along those lines.
I actually quite like this, i dont know why, its mindless, fun, and full of carnage (Oh yeah, thats why). This game has SO much potential though!
Upgrades, Deeper floors, higher sky, powerups perhaps, bosses, cities, levels, perhaps special drill enemies that follow you through the ground until you eat them.
I like the idea. Endless war crossed with M&B2.
I love the massive selection of units, the challenging campaigns, the reinforcement idea, its a very good game, with huge potential.
Few things that i think need adjusting though.
1. I would love to be able to send reinforcements before the wave begins so i sort them out and position them the way i like before the jerry's come.
2. It seems like there are a few balancing issues, i think a standard bazooka/rpg should be able to 1 shot a jeep realistically.
3. A mute button would be beautiful thanks :)
4/5 for now. This game i think is the standard RTS with a perfect twist, you can control any unit and fight to the death with it whenever you like. Beautiful.
