@bud001 I dont pay for anything. You start slow mate but when you finally get going with some resources banked you'll be 1st place easily. I havent paid for anything and I have bought many islands by banking my gems.
I think it was in chat that someone made a comment to the effect of "once you get a stockpile of resources the game starts to move fast" and I have to agree. I made some sacrifices to save up a lot of chests and had to wait forever for a energy event but when it did I really really really good. I'm still on a stockpile of 2300+ energy and I nabbed about 12 rainbow pots. Find a good square to open chests on and stick to it. I have one that gives me 2 gem dust, a small pot, 3 silver coins, 3 plants, and maybe something else I forget rn. I'm still hunting for good squares but when you get into the loop of things it really is fast.
1692 energy with about 15 chests more to open give or take. I think I will break 2000 by the end of the chests and the energy trees going rn. I'll keep banking it slowly after also then burn it on the next area.
I saw something in the discord about opening chests on certain squares because the square determines what comes out not RNG. Maybe I saw this a while ago in the comments too. I'm not going to argue whether it is cheating or not but finding a good square to open chests on can really speed things up. I've found 2 so far that always give me a potion and a gem dust but one gives me only pineapple plants lol.
@XENON I think I am getting issues now too. I just popped 4 big energy boosts from my energy tree. I was at 168 energy, switched to the event island for a minute and came back to 0 energy.

@XENON that sucks mate. Is this one of those games you can't clear your browser cache otherwise it'll wipe your save? (I assume no). Different browser? I use Brave and haven't had any issues (I don't fully trust IE or Chrome either and Brave seemed the lesser of the other two evils lol).
Can anyone tell me how often the energy event with the chests comes along? I am hording about 30 Royal chests from doing Sapphire Cyclops and I am running short of space for them (and patience also). It seems to pop up often enough?
How many coins is enough? If I hold off about maybe 5 days I could scrounge together enough for 2 max coins for wht 120k+ coins. Would I even go through that many even lol?
I am so glad to hear someone mention level 31 lol. I'm a throw away from 20 rn myself. I didn't think I would get addicted to this the way I did but proud to be F2P completely.
Finally made it past the Dragon house on the event and got the rock island opened. I am saving every chest from clearing it until I clear the entire section. I'll wait until the end of today and then merge them all at once.
Could anyone confirm there is/are more then 1 extra island to buy with coins? I bought one just curious if I should be saving for later for another one. (Super close to maxing my coin in the journal for the 65k coin)
@FearlessDecoy I haven't even gotten the engine thing yet. I feel like I am spinning my wheels completely. I'm locked too. Nothing to burn energy on - can't open more space without building the next max building. Frustrating.
Just maxed out a gem chest for the first time and snagged an extra 42 spots on the map plus all the crazy goodies that go along. Well worth the investment of time and space.
