5/5 Great game. Cute! Not too bad a length, but maybe a little short. That's not always a bad thing. I agree it needs combo words for summoning though.
That game was adorable, not too hard, felt like a whimsical little game that kids can play too, and wasn't too long or too short. Overall it was an *adorable* 5/5.
I wasn't going to complain about anything, until I didn't walk through the portal I made by finding all the signposts, instead opting to try a different one because I thought hey, I found them all, everything stays. That immediately made me drop the entire game because there is no way I'm redoing that in a game this "empty and vast". Yes, I was intrigued by the story, and what happened there, but not enough to waste more minutes simply walking and being lost on a huge map.
The gun to life ratio is really frustrating when you're just trying to explore. You have to hit things that can easily kill you way too many times. I can't really enjoy an otherwise great game because of this. Really great concept nonetheless.
It seems to me like Jack knows exactly what's going on, and only puts up a front for the shrink, since obviously, thanks to the ending words, he knows that's exactly what he is. If Jack is sick, then he's stable enough to be aware of what's really going on, but suffering in his own way.
Thanks guys. I read the comments and left this game with the medium badge. I won't spend all my time fighting through everything else only to be hit with a boss like that.
