Personally I prefer that press and hold speed-up. It's not painful in any way and I'm glad I don't need to click anything to change the speed. I like it different.
A bug: in a cup game I won 1st leg 1:0. I lost the 2nd 0:1 so there was extra time. After that the score was 2:2 in the second leg, so I won 3:2 on aggregate. Nevertheless, there was penalty shoot-out (because of the 2:2 tie) that I lost. Finally, it said I'll be played in the next cup stage. So it didn't count the penalties, but the actual score on agg.
I was surprised that hitting the guard with that metal bar doesn't work. Somehow making a gluey blob and messing it all over the door turned out more efficient.
Surprisingly the best level for cash farming is level 1. There are less colors to match than on higher levels, so more yellow tiles will be getting in. Just match non-yellow tiles first, until you get an opportunity to match 4 or 5 yellow tiles and pick up a chest. Repeat as fast as possible, since level 1 is short. Depending on luck/skill you should be able to grab 2-6 wooden chests and 0-2 golden chests in one run. Seems that items you get from chests are scaled with your chars' levels, no matter on what level you pick them up. Selling unneeded items gives a neat cash boost.
