At this point it isn't new, but when attempting to purchase production buildings, I get the pleasure of spending resources without getting any buildings, which means no steel production, which breaks the game.
Control response is makes this game really a test of patience rather than anything fun. Oh, and weapon switching requires that you reload first if you're low. That's a joke and frustrating as hell, especially when you try to switch again before it catches up and end up switching right back to your old weapon. Not exactly a useful "feature". No save feature, so every time you play you have to play straight through. At least it's not a long game. A mute button is an absolute must for implementation. This music gets grating really early on. Please, please put one in. Aiming is more or less optional since it doesn't affect much on which zombie you actually hit, just the general angle it hits. Overall, I've played worse, but not many.
This game had some promise, what with upgrade points, leveling lairs, etc. But I quickly learned that the upgrade system is extremely limited. The repetitive music and complete lack of any real interaction, not to mention the extremely slow speed of pretty much everything, even when cranked up to max, just hammered me to sleep. Promise is all this game has.
No purpose for the training ground, so why even have it? Can't select items for use, which makes it particularly unpleasant to have the Golden Lager at 0 when I need a heal. Moving forward to strike is not only annoying but, considering this guy was supposedly a general, somewhat stupid if you're going to do it every time. The marketplace is not at all what a gladiatorial slave would be allowed to traipse about in. Altogether, it's a cute game, but there's a lot lacking. 3/5 at best.
I've been playing a while. It was decent. There are incentives to play, and it's addictive like any CCG would be. That said, the bugs are getting infuriating. Freezes, inability to play during brawls/megabrawls for no discernable reason, the MASSIVE memory leak resulting in incremental slowdown, and the spontaneous loss of energy upon leveling... it's just getting too much. I highly recommend, if you decide to play, not ever giving in to the temptation to spend money on this: you'll only end up frustrated.
Actually this was rather obvious and pessimistic. No real plot. No actual game. Trite dialogue. Animation is horrid and design is worse. All in all, a bad game. Not top bad of a political animation, though.
I like the premise, but just as MrRubix stated, the precision necessary to solve some of these puzzles is too exact, frustrating the player over trivialities when the player knows the solution but has to instead spend minutes longer than necessary simply because of a nearly imperceptible difference from the gap and the lip where the view makes it only more difficult to see.
