Just found out that XP progess does not appear to save through the account, so I'm starting over at zero on my tablet. It's a good thing I like this game. Waiting for the Steam version.
I keep getting a blank black screen in the middle of combat, and I have to reload the page, sometimes getting bumped back a stop or two. (The first time I was bumped back to a castle, lost the items I'd bought there, and didn't get back the gold I'd spent.)
Ad blocker turned off.
Contip; Rogue does damage, damage repeats from poison, and stuns. I think that's right. So I think that, for the same price, he does more damage than the warrior.
Any chance of an option for fewer animations? My computer's a little slow, so the part between my turns is 'lots of cards swirl around obscuring the playing field and then I can see again and things happened'.
Finally found a browser this would run on (IE 7.0) but the controls are kind of like running a hovercraft--be prepared to go in one direction for a while before you can change anything.
If the inventory bar scrolls, anything that goes off the side of the screen vanishes. I can't access the item, but the space is still full and I can't put anything in that box. Which is something of a problem. (Chrome, WinXP)
Suggestion: Of the three elements 'putting icons in a row' 'very limited time' and 'lots of little widgets with text to read in order to effectively use', go with two of them.
Note: For the arc/cone spells, if the wall is thin enough then you can cast through to the other side. I killed a level boss from a different wing of the dungeon. I larfed.
Damn. This has to be the least fun I've had in.... quite some time. Controls are clunky, death at zero level is guaranteed to be often and quick, and the bit where you're stunned after you take damage assures that you'll do a lot of standing around getting hit waiting patiently for your HP to reach zero and give you blessed release.
Is there a tactic to use against black holes, aside from "try to kill your opponent as quickly as possible, and get sucked in whether you win or lose"?
Stunned or not, my scrappy little Cthulhoid shows an amazing talent for standing there and looking stupid while he gets punched in the face three or four times.
