I beat the entire game in less than 90 minutes. I maxed out "Heavy" within the first hour and became invincible. Beat the final boss with ease. A save feature would be a detriment to the game.
For those that are new to the game and having trouble here are a few tips to follow. #1: Don't haul ass from one bubble to the next. Tap the direction keys to move, don't hold them. To much momentum will cause you to skip through the bubble fields without much control. #2: If you are going fast and skipping through bubbles hold the direction key opposite from you direction of travel. Example: if you are traveling upward then push and hold the down direction key (s) as soon as you enter the next bubble. You will eventually stop and regain control of your ship. You can also try to move in a circular motion in the middle of the bubble to slow your ship and regain control. #3: Check map constantly and don't travel to far from your start point until you get to ship upgrade #2. Hint: if you get your ass kicked easily then you are to far away from your start point for your current ship level. Being to far out will also cause to to get "kicked" around the bubble field.
Wish I could control the ship instead of just endlessly going from one bubble to the next with almost no control. Very frustrating. Glad I'm a glutton for punishment, I'll keep playing til I get the medium achievement. Pointers or hints would be greatly appreciated!!
Finally broke through and got the badge. I did it with only the pistol and only had to touch the controls a couple of times. Play mazey and hide around the first corner, opposite from where the zombies come out. Stay next to the wall, set auto fire ( I just put a stapler on the space bar ), then just let the zombies walk into your bullets. Only a couple of times did I have to move my guy and hide around the next corner down. After level 35 I probably could have left it running all night without getting touched. I had to reach level 50 to get the achievement though because the level tracking system is flawed. This method is long and boring but works good. Keep this comment alive so everyone can get the badge!
F this game! I got to level 43 and then the game freaked out. This resulted in my virtual death and it did not give me the badge, over 2 hours completely wasted!
My god, what are "enemies' in this game. I've been playing for about 120 hours and still no card. I must have killed at least 200 things so far. Do I have to beat the game, what's the deal!
