I do believe that the Church chose Dec 25th because of several pagan holidays taking place on the same date. Sol Invictus, Yule, and other traditions.
Jesus himself said that the only time to celebrate a person is when he dies (Luke 22:19). Every instance of a birthday celebration in the Bible includes death/sorrow, and birthdays were considered to be a pagan (heathenish) ritual.
Is silver used for ANYTHING? I have a thousand of that but I can't sell or buy anything with it, and it's used just as much in battle as anything else, it's just going to keep rising in number.
It still says, "you don't receive some medals in carry over mode". What medals can't I get in carry over mode? What medals CAN I get in carry over mode?
It starts off perfectly fine, but even with the updates and no matter what the settings, it's still too hard. There needs to be greater drops/rewards if you lose, need to be able to at least get SOME medals if you carry over, needs to be more ways to get action points.
Once you start losing, all you can do is grind and grind and grind away until you get a couple of new defense upgrades. There needs to be a way to purchase action points, because there is never enough.
I like this game. It's a very nice start to what could possibly be a near-perfect game on here. Make a sequel, using this model but with improvements (like the difficulty/balancing issues, variety of weapons/enemies, etc)
Yeah, the KAR speed challenge is impossible. Your gun never loads fast enough to get 10 shots off in 3 seconds. It takes about 8 seconds to get all of the shots, not matter what.
I haven't tested the latter word, but words such as "b----" as in female dog and "a--" as in donkey should be added, as they are legitimate and fairly common words, and have meanings besides the negative meanings. Dog-owners/enthusiasts regularly use "b----" to describe female dogs.
Grr...Twice now where I've had the letters "BTCH" right freaking there, but without the ability to type in the word for "female dog." I understand taking out the F-word, but could you at least put in words that have legitimate/correct/polite usage?
...Umm...I'm a bit confused about the upgrade system. Like how certain things go up or down when I upgrade str, but the opposite happens when I do for agt.
I've one everything except get 1st place on the moon. I've gotten within a quarter second of 1st, but cannot get that final achievement for the life of me. Any advice?
