I just found out its posibble with soul eater Here is what you have to equip : Soul Eater , Knight armor , And a Very good helmet that has resistance tlo fire or thunder Spammin legend while keeping the party's Defence up and Magic attack defense and normal defense low you can beat teh boss that way too iam the one to speak iam still training to fight it
I was gonna kill the boss was half way there when he summoned runes here are some tips on how to beat defender easy peezy your gonna need alot of buffing attacks at high level and at least have matt have 8000 hp ( yes my matt does have that much hp) First your gonna need kyun ( natz overdrive) use it first then use matt to buff lance attack to the fullest then make lance use the attack that lowers foes Defence then on the other turn ( you must have a bomb thunder weapon equiped to matt ) ( DO NOT USE SOUL EATER YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY DIE ) use Legend it does like 1000 damage make natz use regen and keep the party alive then make lance use bombs i got the enemies hp to half and my trio was like level 24 example if lance uses the giant black bomb and if the bomb hits critical it will hit 17000 and knock out the holy rune before it has a chance of doing anything it can buff like the kyun put regen and dispel wont work well on protector
