Really great game. One thing that I think would make the game feel a bit more tactile would be if you could take the numbers from the side and place them wherever you want, instead of just having them snap either to the sidebar or the puzzle. Being able to place them around the puzzle would help with informal solving methods and just make the game feel a little more inviting. Still really enjoyed it and found it to be very inventive.
Really good game but I feel like it drops inputs every now and again? I like the puzzles a lot and if the controls felt a little tighter this would be a 5/5 game.
I keep hitting a glitch when I get to the boss with the red shield. If I am playing with mouse controls my character freezes and doesn't shoot until he is eventually killed. The problem doesn't happen with keyboard controls. I still love the game but it would be great to see this rectified!
I love the gameplay (as per usual) but the ant mini-game (with the fruit and nuts and bolts) is waaaay too easy. I literally could have played it forever if I had not intentionally lost. Maybe make some of the double-covered ants have a fruit or something under the first cover so that you can't just blindly double-click.
The unit targeting doesn't make any sense. It seems like the towers will switch their targeted enemy randomly. This is killer when you are fighting enemies that regenerate. I've had a number of times where a regenerating enemy is just about killed and the unit will switch to the enemy next to them, allowing the first to regenerate, and then of course randomly switch back before the second is dead. The towers should either keep their focus on one unit until it is dead or you should build in the ability to choose who they fire on (like highest hp, lowest hp, first, or last).
Great game. It would be really cool if there was a "free play" mode where you could just make any ball that you wanted using all the different tools in the game.
"each level can be solved in a number of different ways"
Not really, most stages have one, and only one, solution. There might have been a few that had an alternate solution but most are pretty straight-forward
Not bad, the shooting seems wholly unnecessary. The main downside is how long it takes to reload the stage after you die, I got really bored waiting for stages to reload.
Really good game, I wouldn't have minded a few more upgrades or maybe making the big orange orbs worth more than the little guys but those are just small nitpicky things.
I think this game is great overall, however it can feel a bit cheap when I miss a gate and have to drive across half the map to reset while the computer resets almost automatically. Its not horrible but it can be irksome when you can see the person in front of you miss a gate completely and then respawn fast enough to stay ahead of you.
Good game, but two comments. 1. The meltic acid is super frustrating, I died several times because my sword swipe did not send the meltic acid away but right on me instead, plus none of the guys that die by the acid count toward your kills, that seems kind of silly. 2. It would be nice if you could choose another key to swing the sword, mouse click isn't bad except for when you are close to the edge and end up clicking outside the window, that can leave you very vulnerable.
