So... like others have said its extremely repetitive, oh well, for all you badge hunters who're just going for the medium badge; focus on one duck, there is no need for multiple ducks. Its tedious but eventually you'll have to train to level 150 on everything apart from energy to compete and win against the last duck. Good luck guys!
(Oh, and for the slots, jump on the middle once, and the right one twice, you'll get a full heal!) Again sorry for the long comment. 9 years...

Part 2: For the two fighting bosses, run in a circular motion wacking the one on the ground first, once hes down take care of the flying one. You have longer range than the flying one once the other guys taken care of, so you can hit him a few times, once hes down move back a little and move forward hitting him. I like to save up the organs and bombs for the final fight. The final fight is a little bit difficult, ignore the minions he summons and try to find him standing still and throw a bomb at him, if you've been saving up bombs 9 bombs should be enough to finish him. DONT get hit by the beam, because once you do that's GG. The only advice I have on that is to keep moving in circular motions until you get him. I like to bait the beam and then sneak up behind him with the bomb. Anyways happy badge hunting guys. Good luck! Took me 9 years to finally finish this game, sorry for the long comment!
Finally got the hard badge! After 9 years hahaha. A few tips for all you badge hunters. Pick Dan Paladin, and proceed to run up and down jumping in between the enemies and watch them kill themselves while you take no damage. For the impatient you can wack at them until the slots as the slots give you a full heal anyways. What I found to work is to get a few hits and move down. When they chase you move up and get a few hits in again and move down. Always be moving. The bosses are easy once you figure out their skills. The cat and the robot kill themselves with their missiles, for the fish throwing guy, when he's throwing his fishes you can stand on him and wack him. I normally like to jump up and down in between the bosses and the little minions first to have the bosses kill the minions and then its easy 1v1 with the bosses.
Finally finished the game on hardcore, really great game. Love the random system, that just adds to the difficulty of the game. Just like one is born with certain talents and lacking in others.
I personally used a fire mage, an archer, and a paladin. The law spell tree is actually really good in my opinion. Hardcore is very doable by switching equipment based on what zone you're in and what kind of damage the enemies deal.
I love this game, that being said, I'm wondering if there was an idea to implement a map system that shows where you've already been and dictates NPCs, creatures and other things you've come across (maybe with simple colour coded blocks on map. That would definitely help! Anyways, thanks guys for a great game!
Finally got the hard badge, pro tip: max out regen and toughness first, swap your skills around to get achievements, and in the later levels just camp out at a corner and destroy the ships as they spawn. Good luck guys! (and also kill all the aliens first, hate those guys!)
Finally got the Impossible badge, follow Ivod's advice, but I eventually used all missiles and that helped a lot with the last 2 bosses. Also using all upgraded missiles you can stay at the top of the map and blast all the minions before they can even shoot at you. If anyone was having difficulty with going unharmed for the previous stages. Good luck!
You just won the
MISSIONS TO MARS BADGE
For those going for the hard badge, I'd recommend going slow once you reach space, this allows you to change directions and dodge all the asteroids and get to Mars really easily.
Good luck!
Congratulations! You just won the Lasting Legacy Badge and 30 points! Good game! finally got that hard badge, heres a tip, don't have any idle workers, if you do, just send them out to scout the map, balancing with a sufficient amount of survivors and food source is also important, and of course you need all the soldiers you can get, placing survivors on defence duty will turn them into soldiers too, i hardly needed to use the schools at all. Good luck
Congratulations! You just won the Killing Time Badge and 30 points! It's not really that hard, the sniping challenge might be a little challenging, but hey it's a hard badge =), i think the trick is to not zoom in with the sniping challenge, and i found that using the shot gun makes the gun run challenge a lot easier. Hope this helps
