something really annoying happened, and that was when my students went on a hunting mission and started in a small cubicle, unable to go to other places
NEEDS A RESET LEVEL BUTTON! I have the sponge in my hands, but some bug happens and I can't give it to the queen. I can't die, either, so I have to refresh my browser and play the game all over again. Very nice, huh. Could've been a 4/5, but that was a major let-down
I've been playing this game for quite some time now. I don't play it everyday and only play it some levels at a time. After some struggles (the last ones were level 51, 62 and 63) I'm finally on level 70. Nice, game, you're trying me make me give up now... But I won't!!!
still @EaqueMinos: Even so, I once got 7 hits out of 23 tries (counting blocks as hits) with a hitting chance of 50%. The chance of getting 7 "hits" (or less) out of 23 attacks is a little bit more than 4,5% (390655 out of 8388608), which is virtually possible, but still very unlikely to happen, and it actually happens quite a lot. So, I really think there's something off with the mechanics. (Hope I didn't scare you with all these numbers)
@EaqueMinos:
Let's look into TheNeRD14's example. Suppose you have a four-sided die. Three faces say "HIT" and one says "MISS". That way, we have a 75% chance to hit and a 25% chance to miss. If we throw the die twice, the chance to miss twice is 6,25%. Why? Let's give each "HIT" a singular name (H1, H2 and H3). Here's the possible outcomes: H1H1, H1H2, H1H3, H1M, H2H1, H2H2, H2H3, H2M, H3H1, H3H2, H3H3, H3M, MH1, MH2, MH3, MM. There's a total of 16 (4²) possible outcomes, and only one of them correspond to "miss" twice, hence 1/16 = 6,25%. To miss 6 times in a row in 1 chance in 4096 (4^6), which is approximately a 0,025% chance. That's pretty unlike to happen just by randomness, isn't it? BUUUUT we don't know if our friend TheNeRD14 counted blocks as misses, which they shouldn't. A block is statistically a hit.
there's something very wrong with game mechanics... with a 75% i'm supposed to hit on 3 out of 4, not 2 out of 10... 33% should be 1 out of 3, not 1 out of 10
