What this game really needs (apart from more updates, more characters, more missions and more content in general =) ) is the ability to change music and sfx volumes separately. I really enjoy the music, but the SFX is so loud I have to turn the sound down and I can barely hear the music.
I've playing this game for almost a year now and I always wonder why people complain about gold cost to skip missions. Why would you skip a mission anyway? It's not like they'll help get money faster. I think the real problem is having that option.
To those complaining about it being too grindy, I think this game is waaaaay better if you play it only once or twice a day. Yes, it is repetitive. But many people enjoy doing sudoku and crossword puzzles. They're also repetitive, but I doubt many people enjoy doing them for hours and hours straight. They're fine, though, when you do one puzzle or something after reading the newspaper or something like that.
I think prices are ok, too. It may seem impossible at the beginning, but once you start making 5k combos, you'll get the money a lot faster!
Give this game a chance =)
I really wanna play this game, but I'm waiting for bugs to be fixed. I don't wanna get frustrated and ruin a potentially great experience. Is there any way to subscribe do this game's updates?
Fun game, but it suffers from some of the same problems its prequel had. SFX glitches, beating the game and getting very far on endless mode while 10-20 missions were still left to be done, being unable to dismiss a team member (from pause menu, for example), being unable to remove, say, a rifleman from my initial party after upgrade purchased and so on. Still, kept me entertained for 2-3 hours. =)
I love the game. But I wish I could lower quality. My computer isn't too old and runs more complex games just fine. It was kind of boring walking around at that speed. =/ But the rest was awesome! Grats
My only complaint is that I could go forever on the third (Anthill) minigame, my timer would only go up and I actually had lose around 250 points so I could lose the game and still get the gold trophy. The last minigame, too, had some hit-area problems. Other than that, great puzzle game, like usual. 4/5
This game is a lesson on how to overcomplicate a game and take all the fun away. Too much information on screen, too many controls. Voice's great, so's the story, even though the theme is old, I'm already sick of everything being based on zombies. Achievements are hard to read/scroll. Nice music. I couldn't really understand how much health, armor and ammo I had left. It sucks that the pistol has a very limited range. While I'm waiting for someone to perform a task, the zombies must be really close before I can hit them. ---- That said, I'm sorry, but I couldn't have fun playing this game like I had with the first one. But I still hope that the next one's gonna be better!
This game has some flaws. (1) the 3 quest categories don't make sense. Usually, the hardest ones are worth less stars. In the end, I had like 8 two-star quests left to complete. Why not just use 3 slots for all quests? (2) As mentioned before, this game gets laggy, specially on Survival Mode. Also, it's hard to see your character in the middle of all that craziness ---- Anyways, I had SOOO much fun playing this game and since that's all games are about, I'm forced to give it 5/5
I love Ace Attorney games. This game is even more logical than the Ace Attorney ones, and I don't think you have a budget that's even comparable to theirs (but I hope I'm wrong, for your sake). Only problem was going for every option (except Challenge) to make him say what I wanted him to say. It didn't feel very natural to me sometimes, like questioning relevance on Protagoras last statement. In this case, I should have the Idea that Morality Comes From the Individual to Challenge him. Maybe more playtesting before launching the game, to get different perspectives? But it seems you had a lot of testers! Anyway, congratulations, I really loved playing this game!
There also seems to be a bug with sound effects. They always get turned off when I start a new run. (I'm not pressing N!). And like it's been said here, you could have some formations for your troops (at least GROUPING, but others would be nice). Last but not least, I'd like to be able to choose between different skills during the game. I ended up using only napalm because it has the quickest recharge time (and best for healing with Salvation). Maybe a slower time for each one of them? Or some kind of Ability Points that slowly refill, and the skills could have different costs.
why so many missions? I bought everything and got the hard badge after I'd completed my 30th mission. Apart from that, the rocket launcher seems too weak, and so does the Heroic Dash skill. It's a good skills while it lasts, but then it finishes you're pretty much in trouble having to destroy everything that has accumulated. On the allies, I hate when those Riflemen got stuck in my party forever, making things harder, but they wouldn't die/be replaced. I wish freeing a better ally from the cage should would make it take the spot of a weaker member, or at least take the spot of a member of the same kind who's been injured. This has so much potential as it has work to be done. Keep it up, devs! =)
