I LOVE the new item cap! It gives me a definite 'endpoint' to where I'm sure I won't be missing anything if I move up an era, and it makes me feel way more accomplished. It's like a massive flood of dopamine to finish a set...
It's funny, the item cap was simply a safety measure in the case of out of control buying, but it ended up an appreciated feature. Maybe i'll throw other things randomly into the game
@EndlessSporadic , it's probably going to end up like steel in the future-- once you get enough resources, you can skip several buildings and just build pure steel mills. I doubt it'll cost concrete, but I wouldn't be surprised if it asked for a million energy. Sand is just expensive, ha ha.
I looooove this game. I can't wait to see it develop. Dev, do you know if we'll be seeing paths capable of going through mountains and combination road/energy transmitters, those sorts of things? It would really ease up my town constructions~
Why not have an 'autoequip' feature? Make it optional, and a button press, but it'll automatically equip any higher level uncombinated gear of the same kind to the heroes.
I might look into it, but I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna have enough time :/ As a curiosity, in the alpha version of the game the items equipped automatically but I found out that really confused non rpg-players and make them wonder where the item go lol, so I had to disable that. Cheers!
That face when you discover the knockback from the punching staff is /just enough/ to allow you to kill most all enemies/bosses without spawning a single unit.
