@wwwarrick: Most of the items in the game can move continuously (no landing). This applies typically to the SAM and HOME BASE, but can be used with weapons (not the drone). Using the floating SAM, the base can reach into the creeper a fair distance without building a collector. The base itself, can exist in the creeper a long time, which adds to your energy collection.
I'm still confused. NBM is no base movement which would mean you had to reach the center totem without using the base. Am I missing something as I don't see how you reached the totem without using the base.
