10/17 - 2:57 Using ODIN CITY moving along the North edge. 3 Blasters along the North edge. No other weapons. I never would have though about using the North wall without seeing carusoo's screenshot.
@iMiPi - You actually started this fast time hunger by showing us the way with your pioneering display of screenshots, videos and tutorial comments. My respect.
@hawk45. I typically run a map using DOUBLE SPEED and PAUSE. When it gets down to having to move ODIN CITY or a SAM base in a hovered mode, I will slow the game down to NORMAL SPEED. If I see a time is really short compared to what I did, I will sometimes let the game run to the record fast time to see how far the CREEPER expands, then I'll build collectors just out of reach of that. This is just to play catch-up to hawk45 and carusoo, who almost always kick my time to pieces at first. I use to sometimes post a challenge of playing a game in REAL TIME (no PAUSE) and, of course, the times are much higher unless you've played the level often. It usually takes me about 5-10 times to get a score close to the best, but I've played some levels 25 times in an effort to knock off that final second. More often than not, one of the big boys has come up with a layout that I hadn't even considered, as carusoo did on 10/17.
