No challenge hawk45. It was beyond my ability. First, I didn't even think the stretch to the 3rd totem was possible. But even when I used your layout, I was still about 2 seconds too slow. And that is why I consider myself a Tier 2 player, while you and several others are Tier 1. Amazing, elegant, simple solution for those who can eke out energy and time past my skill set.
I don't know who it is voting negative on speed times, but what is the problem with you? Speed is just one way to play the game. Get over yourself. By the way, @hawk45, always a pleasure to see your times and solutions.
@carusoo That upper left solution is excellent. By the way, do hawk45 or iMiPi come by anymore? I don't come here as often as before. You are one of the people who constantly amaze me.
@Balbanes I was at 1:45 until I saw your post. Now I've gone back with one less collector and gotten to 1:42. I'd be happy to give you FTP, just for showing it's possible with one less collector. Thanks.
@Balbanes I always considered myself one of the 2nd tier players behind about 5 others. In general, whatever caused less of a DEFICIT is the fastest. In your specific question, as long as the ENERGY is above Zero, you're fine. I prefer, if I have the option, running the ENERGY just above Zero, as anything way above zero is just potential energy. Get it and use it. With only 4 collectors, I'd probably not connect all 3 Totems for simultaneous filling, if possible, just do one at a time. USE THE GRAPH to see how you did. Your best times will be when the Energy Collected and Energy Used are as close to each other as possible. I have not run a test of your exact scenario. I hope that helps.
Anyone had this happen? I had 2 Totems activated (spinning propellers), and while the 3rd Totem was finishing up, the Mother Ship kept sending Green packets to the already spinning Totems!!
