I like the idea. It reminds me of one of my more random games, actually. A couple things: 1) Your "Submit" button doesn't do anything. If you're just using it to submit scores to Kongregate's API, you can have that done automatically by putting it right in an event like when you die. 2) It would be nice if you could spin the bar by pressing the button. As most people are right handed, it's awkward to use your right hand for the arrow keys and click the mouse with your left, and unnatural the other way. Space bar would be perfect. Continued in next comment...
3) The game gets stall after a while. Look at ways to keep it fresh. This is a fairly simple concept so I know the main point is high scores, but even just graphical things like changing the background color helps keep the player's attention. Power ups, special events, and maybe even boss like things (Say all of a sudden a period of like 15 seconds with a high amount of mines happens) helps keep the game fresh and makes the player want to play again 4) The game lacks a mute button. They aren't hard to do, and every game should have one. Welcome to the land of development, very good first game. Keep up the good work! :)

Most of my games were stole (19 of them), some games I consider good decent games, some are honestly total crap, and even some are community games that would be pointless outside of kongregate (Digg Mark Idle, The Conduct Quiz). What gets me about this is the total amount of disrespect Andrew (The sites' owner) has shown towards developers. He disrespects use, refuses to remove our games (Which he stole!) unless we talk to him like he's our boss, and shows a dishonest and laziness that saddens me. Something serious needs to be done.

First off, this game deserves to be rated a lot higher then I think it'll end up being scored. Purely for the fact that most people will rate games that there are so many of out there low. But the game itself is really top notch. The art work is great (Although sometimes I would just get a blank square enemy, not sure if that's a known bug), the sound isn't mind blowing, but it's classic arcade style, which suits this game perfectly. The game also has multiple difficulties, a pause, and a mute button. What more do you need? It's a really all around great effort. The only things I will suggest is that: 1) I would have liked it if the game area was a little more horizontal, and a little less vertical. (But I'm not in the norm in running 16:9 on a PC) 2) Add kongregate highscoring API! It is extremely easy to do in AS2, and only slightly harder in AS3. There's a link to the docs under the developer tab. And welcome to Kongregate! I look foward to seeing more of your games in the future!

Good part of a game... But that's all it is. I'm all for releases demos or alphas of a game, but this isn't a game. There isn't an functionality, you don't need feedback on this. It works, it looks good. But since you uploaded it I might as well suggest that you make it so the text isn't selectable. It doesn't really effect your game, but it makes it seem more professional if it's embedded. Please try not to upload parts of games, that aren't really games.
Decent first game. My first game was also a maze game. There are a few things you could do to make the game a bit better. 1) Include a mute button. Most people are going to want to shut a game's audio off so they can listen to their own music. 2) Make it so when you hold your mouse button down you die. Right now I could use that glitch to easily win every level.(There are a few ways you could fix this, put giant clear button over the screen and have it so if they press it triggers the fail screen, or even just put a mousedown event in a movieclip; just something like that) 3) Give the game a proper ending screen instead of just staying on the last level. Also, I noticed that after level 4 after you die you go back to level 4. Not sure if that's a bug or not.
Even if you have good intentions, do not upload games that don't belong to you. Because Kongregate shares ad-revenue with developers you ARE MAKE MONEY OFF THIS GAME, whether you plan on collection the money rewarded to you or not, it is theft. Kongregate can also be sued for having games improperly uploaded to their website. (See Viacom's lawsuit against Youtube) If you want to help Kongregate out by getting games on here, email the developers and tell them they can make money off of putting their games on here. Most people don't turn down an easy opportunity to make money, and you will spend less time writing a two sentence email then uploading the game yourself. Everyone wins that way.
Not really a game... Very cool graphically wise, but this isn't a game. Also please don't advertise "extra bonus points" this isn't facebook and we don't need people to start the whole "Invite all you friends" scams..
Good game... Nice idea, I've never seen a game exactly like this, so points to you. The game itself runs very smoothly, I've played it for ten minutes and haven't even had a hint of a bug. The game engine seems to be very accurate. No sudden "Jumps" at all. The graphics aren't great, but they get the job done. All the different modes are a great bonus that will add hours of enjoyment for anyone. The in game achievements are also a great addition to this game. The only reason I can see why this game isn't rated really high, is that the graphics are simple, and there is no sound. Fix those areas up and this game could be something really special! 5/5 (I might also enjoy this on facebook as well!)
First off: I've never played Diablo, so I don't fully understand where you want this game to go... Your base game engine seems decent, but right now the player moves way to fast, seem with the monsters. The player also seems to move faster from left to right then up and down. (Again not sure if you mean for it to be like that). I also don't like the way you fire, only being able to fire in the last direction you've moved is a pain. You could consider doing something like having the arrow keys move the player, and the asdw keys be directional fire if you wanted to. The music is nice, but only plays once, you need to set it to repeat. If you take you time, and do this right, you should have a very nice game when it's finished. And if you're looking for team-members, I'd check the collab forum. 3/5 for right now, keep at it!

Wonderful art. The music and sound goes extremely well with the design of the game. Very different then the usual type of game on this engine. Doesn't seem glitchy at all. 5/5 And looking forward to a squeal!

If something weird happens like that please take a screenshot and send in a bug report... It makes it so much easier to trace down the bug :)

Great work Ghostly! Very nice game. Great graphics, solid coding, and lots of modes. Not to mention a good fit into the "Endurance" theme. (Much better than my entry) You might just be able to win some cash with this! I hope you do!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I addressed two issues in the game news section. If anyone has any ideas on things to add to the game, please do suggest them! Thanks all!

Yeah you can click and drag it out, but after the game gets going it's really pointless with all the other stuff you have to do. :P

Alright game. I think all the bases of a good game are there, but nothing more then there has to be. The graphics are okay, they look like they were made in gimp or something, which never look good to me in flash. The effects are also lacking. I know the feeling of not being able to do graphics--It's not a good one. I played though level 6, and didn't really see anything different among the enemies. I did like the power up system, that was well done. The only bug I found is that all the dynamic text (Score, lives, ect) are cut of a bit. They seem like the bottom 20% is cut off. Increasing the vertical size of the dynamic text boxes should fix that. I'm giving you 4/5 for your coding. I think if you can find better graphics, jazz up the effects, and put a little more creativity in it, you'll have a real winner!
