Definitely broken (maybe as part of the winter skin) as I don't see any option to buy the telescope even though I'm three floors above the helicopter. In the video from the dev's website, it's available two floors above the heli.
I'm not sure why but this game uses up a lot of CPU/GPU on my mac with one monster/ one tower. It feels like there's some sort of bug/ issue with the background tasks.
I made some performance fixes in 0.4.4, but actually it works perfectly fine for me on Windows. But, i already got several performance problmes reports from Mac users, so, maybe, it's platform specific problem. I will try to figure it out, thank you for a comment!
Your maximum reserve of clicks is given by the maximum number on the board. You get more click by consecutive merges rather than merging more balls together at the same time (e.g. you get 3 clicks when clicking on the first ball in 2->3->4, 6 when clicking on 2->3->4->5 and 1 click when clicking on 2->3->3->3). So you have to aim to have a ball as high as possible, but keep all the balls at the same level. Pure evil! 5/5
Sorry, no, it's no longer in development. I've started on Epic Starfighter Pilot Legacy 2, with neeeeeew mechanics. I've also got a few other life projects going on that keep me pretty busy. From my perspective, the game accomplished the goals I had set out before I started. I hope everyone has enjoyed it. I'm sorry that I never got around to making mechanics more intuitive. Here's to hoping to see more pilots take on bigger, better, and badder adventures in ESPL2. Btw, I promise that ESPL2 won't been laden with microtransactions.
@MMX95 I'm afraid there isn't a lot of choice to be suboptimal:
i) Miners are fairly useless (1k times less productive for the same upgrade level) so really one way to get metal
ii) There is only one way to get energy
iii) To prestige you need to assemble builders, but to upgrade your assembly time from x1.61 to a whooping 1.77 it costs 99 green talent points. The green talent points cost scales much more than the 10% benefit i.e. *the very definition of a wall*
iv) Exploring territory is slow from the 2nd and massively slow from the 3rd and the cost to improve these times is as per iii) above.
Try to build full base with high level factories and compare the results. You don't need high level assembly to progress. Factories needed to build robots quickly. Cube will be busy in the late game with other things.
This game has a wall at lvl 30 and 40 via energy, worker assembly and the size of the queue. I don't think even the ridiculous overpriced bonuses would help with all of them at the same time. The game seems to have potential, but right now it's a slog. 2/5
Good game, but cannot prestige the end game. Also, ***SPOILER*** the parallel world actually gives more income than the scrambled one so best to just get the upgrades and go back one.
@Taucraft - fyi, after the latest update I noticed the game hanged before continue and then it went on. This didn't happen before and I closed the game for a little while. After I had the game close for nearly a day, I got the out of memory bug. If you changed something about the offline calculation, that could be the cause of the memory bug everyone is experiencing.
After the update, the game says connecting then the following error pops-up:
InvalidStateError: An attempt was made to use an object that is not, or is no longer, usable
Hiring more than three lumberjack does indeed do something: when you hire the 4th lumberjack, you will see the first tree (where the first lumberjack appears) is cut twice as fast. Next lumberjack goes to the second tree and so on.
No one can fault this game for being a clone. Could do with a first screen on how to start the game and that you can rebirth straight away, but otherwise quite a refreshing take. I do have one bug (I think it's a bug) in that after a while, the enemies seem to come out one or two at a time only and then stop. Is this on purpose to force a rebirth or a bug?
