Just wondering, is there a way to see all of the incoming and outgoing effects on desktop mode, like how it's a list on mobile? The desktop only seems to show 2 outgoing effects and then +3 more, but I can't find the info on the +3 more at all. I want to see whose formation abilities to mimic, or how much legendaries effect the group, and it's harder to see the stats on desktop. Loving the game by the way!
On the computer, you have to hover each buff bubble individually to see all the information. The mobile version was done the way it was done because there is no hover option on a phone. It is on the developer's wish list to come up with a better system for the computer version but we don't have an ETA for that.
I enjoyed it, though I did need a hint to get it started. I've never heard the term "brain twister" before; always thought it was "brain teaser", but understood nonetheless! - Also, "in misery" is definitely something one could say. In Maroon 5's "Misery", the first line is "I am in misery"
After defeating the ant "You clear the remains of your face"... My first thought: "Why? What happened to my face?!" Second thought, typo: "You clear the remains *off* your face".
So far, the concept is good; I like it. I just wish there was an "undo" that brought you back to right before "blueprinting". I keep pressing the space bar to interact instead of "z". I find the "backspace" option a little bit out of the way ("enter", "shift", or "ctrl" seem to be more ideal on my keyboard)
I can't seem to figure out how to get the heartstone shard for the Striking First quest.
Does it drop? Do my factions have to be a certain level because boy did I screw that up (you mean, you're not supposed to kill your allies and like-classes?)
I like the platform and the concept. The story is good to read, but takes a bit too long to make the words appear. I want to read it all, but don't want to wait for each word to appear one by one. - I agree with the note that this game is almost keyboard only. R doesn't work on the "Game Over" or "Next Screen". I would suggest using up and down to navigate through the options, and "space" to select so that you can go on without moving your hands back to the mouse every time. It is a bit of a deterrent for me (after falling several times, I got a bit tired of going back to the mouse again after using both hands for arrows). Overall, good game!
Hilarious idea and cute game. Kind of cool to force the opponent to make a move. Hope to see this grow into something more. An idea to add another dimension may be to have missions/in-game badges of some sort like "kill your bishop in 5 moves" or "keep a pawn as the last man standing". Interesting twist on an old game :)
Thanks chovy! I really like those ideas. Will think about adding something similar. Its a free game and so based on how much side project time I can dedicate, I will update the game :)
It's like Chess for Tic Tac Toe. There's a bit of think-ahead strategy and forcing the other player to go into specific spots. Cool twist on a simple game!
This is a cool game, but I think the character needs an option to have different types of skills (for example one that could hit multiple targets)
Also, dying and having to restart was not ideal. Otherwise, the graphics and music were great! The idea is pretty good, but started to get lazy and just random clicking instead of targetting because it was starting to take too long.
