for medium badge focus more on jumps than killing enemies. You have quite a bit of life, but obviously if you fall it's game over. Spam shots out on flat running parts.
It's such a great game. But I have to say I was unpleasantly surprised to find that auto save, saves over when you choose to save. Usually auto save is separate from other saves. Would have been nice to be able to go back to where I chose to save, as I didn't realize how hard the area was, used all my food in battle, died and then auto save kicked in and I have no food for the rest of the game, essentially making me start over. Nice?
Stylistically, this game is beautiful. Nice concept. Puzzles were difficult enough to be challenging but not so difficult that you couldn't figure out what to do. My only qualm is I experienced a lot of lag. It would have been nice to be able to change the quality of the game. Overall, really great. Well done!
This was one of the better cube series adventures. While I love the cube series so much (they are so dark, unique and challenging) sometimes it's very difficult to figure out what exactly you're supposed to do. This one was a little better in that you had less items at a time so you could figure out more easily what you were supposed to do... But still challenging. Just the right balance :)
For the final boss, you can grind xp by killing the orbs if need be (slow-going but better than the creatures outside). Also, I killed top orb, left then right. Healed sparingly. Then stayed at the top, dodged fireballs, and hit boss with my sword when I could. Took about three tries.
The tutorial sucks. You are pushing over and a tip pops up, and because you are holding a control, it disappears. How am I supposed to know what to do or how to do it if the tutorial just disappears without me being able to read it? So frustrating~
One other player suggested to stay on the right side to beat the quest. The thing is that you get trapped often. I was using this strategy and died a lot. Then I just tried staying in the middle. I focused on the top, and moved as little as possible. Beat it twice in five minutes (first time didn't get achievement, don't forget to take a screenshot if you beat it, just in case)
I wish I could give this a minus rating. I have enjoyed many of the elephant games but this... Just horrendous. Not even a little fun. Worst idea ever and why is it on the epic badge? WHY!? It is so far from epic.
Just figured out that you can still get 100% on build station (icing and toppings) just by getting great on icing and going quickly but you still have to be neat (don't drop stuff on the counter and center items as much as possible). WOot! Got 100% on three customers that round :)
I love, love this game! So fun! My only negative comment would be that it would be useful if there was an in-battle save feature. For the final boss fight it can take anywhere from half an hour to an hour, and for some reason I didn't get the achievement. I didn't know I would have to provide evidence in the form of a screen shot and so I had to re-do the final boss fight... Brutal :( But other than that a wonderful game!
For medium badge: there is better enchanted equipment when you beat great cities. Use rage potion and the larger group heal potion generously to beat the great cities when you are at a high enough level. You will get enchanted equipment which should help you to get the badge.
The game concept is good. The execution sucks though. The fact that you have to ever so perfectly click on the right spot (not knowing what the right spot is) totally ruins the game play for me. I had already solved the steps of what to do but when I tried to click and execute the steps it didn't work so I thought I had it wrong... But apparently I didn't. There is just a spot that you have to click and it has to be the exact spot or it won't work... Fun... Or not.
For the hard badge: just to be specific "blue" treasure doesn't mean the description of the item. In each dungeon there is a blue treasure chest. So you need to do 19 dungeons and find the blue chest in each. Wow! I would have been done this achievement long ago, if I had figured that out. Blonde moment! :P lol
