After three minutes of brutal fighting, the battlefield was scarred beyond recognition. In place of trees, there were tank carcasses. Instead of grass, the bloody dead. In fact, there was but one survivor: a demoralized British rifleman who singlehandedly captured the German lines. Good on that soldier.
Aside from Veronica, you don't have to if you don't want to! But Veronica is part of the tutorial process. Once you're through that, you can always un-equip her if you want to play solo. Hope this helps!
Not exactly the most well-made game in the history of Kongregate, but it's an interesting puzzle nonetheless. I'm currently stuck on level 4, the +1 parts are impossible to avoid entirely.
If one teenager can do this much damage, on a single asteroid, imagine how much destruction an insertion of trained soldiers will do to wherever these things come from.
Once you've fallen in love, and I mean truly... There is never any going back. After those moments in the woods, nothing would have compared to the beautiful maiden the boy saw. He must have lived his life, locked with those precious minutes with the woman. His wife, and children; he certainly cared for them, of course. But never did the woman leave his mind, for he was truly, honestly in love, and nothing can ever change that, nor ever would.
@crysty1: The base is, in fact, quite important. For you see, the enemy are using psychological warfare and telepathic communication to implant the idea that the base is pointless. And while you think about that, you pay less attention to the battlefield, and they blow up the base. Curse them, and their odd array of weaponry!
It is times like this, when I discover demos scattered throughout the WWW for the same game, that I reflect upon the game called Doom that showed the world, with an iron fist and a powerful advertising base, that shareware is indeed a mighty force to be reckoned with. Developers beware!
