Some of the upgrades aren't working. And they seem to sporadically not work. Like the passive cash gain works, but not every time. Some times I receive no cash gain at all as time goes by. Same with the research gains, the one for RP gain per kill doesn't seem to work everytime.
Correction: It seems if a tutorial screen comes up when your run ends, you are unable to click it until you pick your upgrade (which is hard to see) and press play to start again.
Two issues I noticed. 1. The computer seems to be able to hit a nitro right from the green flag, while I have to wait. 2. I watched a computer nitro last for at least 5 to 10 seconds, while mine last for like 2.
So, I promoted my staff, before doing it as part of the tutorial, and now I'm stuck because the start day is locked until I promote my staff through the tutorial, and I don't really want to skip it if I miss something important down the road.
ALso, it seems like boss levels don't give you anymore money than a regular level. Which is kind of frustrating if you have to grind to be able to beat a boss.
Shouldn't I be earning exponentially more money as I progress? Especially at the cost of lvl 4 upgrades and higher?
I make roughly 2500 to 3000 on lvl 7, but ~2000 on lvl 11?
The Giants are a little over the top. They can decimate you before they even get in range of your weapons. And their range is longer than yours unless you have longe range weapons of course. And they linger so much and just pound you before you can even hit them. And they just wipe you out every time. I have more trouble with a wave of them than anything else in the game.
Indeed, they are tough. For s short-ranged weapons, the mod, increasing the distance may help. On what level and which weapon did you encounter them first?
BTW, their weak side is that they have big head.
I saw a tip about using minefields, but haven't seen anyway to buy a minefield. Am I doing something wrong? I thought I saw something about selling loot to learn about new weapons, but I've been selling loot and don't get any info.
Thank you. Perhaps, the game shown the tip about the minefields too early, as the mineslayer weapon is unlocked around the 2nd half of the game.
To unlock the new weapons you should hire the henchmen. We removed "buy spaceship details" concept (and totally forgot to fix the tip text, ha-ha :) ), and the weapon mods can only be crafted. But selling the loot is often good if you don't have enough money for the new weapon.
I think the powerful enemies are a little too frequent. I couldn't even defeat a trojan with my upgrades and upgraded canons, it just laughed. I think having a boss that can flat out ignore anything is ridiculous, especially when you don't get all that much money UNLESS you defeat said Giants.
However your car is generally faster than the other cars, and you are more skillful.
